Youthbank Visit www.youthbank.sg! YouthBank is the brainchild of youth charity, Heartware Network (www.heartware.org).

Youthbank is a volunteer management system which allows our youth volunteers to 'deposit' their volunteer time and facilitates youth leaders when recruiting, organising and managing volunteers for meaningful community projects. The YouthBank online community was designed to grow the spirit of volunteerism amongst youths in Singapore. YouthBank does this by facilitating the value engagement of youths in Singapore towards owning and benefiting their community with active volunteerism. YouthBank was initiated by Heartware Network and its 1st phase was powered by Microsoft Singapore with technical support from ITE College Central, Nanyang Polytechnic and AKSAAS Pte Ltd (a spin-off company from A*STAR’s Exploit Technologies). YouthBank was launched in May 2006 by Minister George Yeo. Since its launch, more than 14,000 youths have signed up as volunteers. In total, they have successfully completed about 233,460 volunteer hours

With Maybank’s sponsorship, YouthBank was renamed ‘YouthBank by Maybank’ from 4 December 2007. By sponsoring YouthBank, Maybank is helping to build scalable infrastructure to engage youths and facilitate volunteerism in Singapore. Moving ahead, with its newly revamped features, YouthBank aspires to be a platform whereby young volunteer leaders may network with other youths in Singapore to connect with them and engage them in meaningful community service. These young volunteer leaders are volunteers who are assisting Heartware Network in planning, organizing and executing its various community projects.

✨ 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗛𝗘𝗙 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀!

The Acclaim Heartware Education Fund (AHEF) – a collaboration between Acclaim Insurance Brokers Pte Ltd and Heartware Network targets youth volunteers who require financial support.

The study award recognises effective and consistent volunteerism as a form of merit. Besides complete sponsorship of tuition fees, recipients are also entitled to monthly $300 allowance and a one-time laptop allowance of up to $1,500.

Additionally, Acclaim will strive to provide internships to students during term breaks and AHEF recipients can expect to work one year at Acclaim upon graduation.

The future is bright, electric, and limitless! Dive into a world of neon vibes, boundless energy, and creativity at the Heartware - East Coast Youth Festival on 4th November 2023. From electrifying performances to interactive booths that bridge the past and present, this is one event you won't want to miss!

Take a trip down memory lane with this throwback video, where our dedicated HW-NDP show volunteers came together in unity to assemble the exquisite hand-drawn acrylic keychains created by MOE performers from various schools. Each of these keychains is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, individually designed by our National Day Parade performers, ensuring their uniqueness. 🎨

These keychains bear heartfelt messages and designs that reflect the deep gratitude of our show performers and volunteers towards our unwavering NS men who tirelessly serve our nation.

🌟 Making an Impact Together! 🌟

7 dedicated youth volunteers from Dunman High School (.hype) had an incredible time at CampusImpact () on 30 May and 6 June, where they conducted a First Aid and Life Skills workshop for 15 amazing children. 🏥🌿

They explored the world of first aid, empowering these young minds with knowledge that can make a real difference in emergencies 💪 They also discovered how to identify various types of wounds and learned the importance of healthy eating for a strong body and mind 🍎🥦

But it wasn't all serious learning! The children had a blast playing games that brought out the spirit of teamwork and togetherness. 🤝💥

These workshops conducted are in collaboration with President's Challenge Singapore () 🙌🏻✨
