Building a strong tech talent pipeline takes more than hiring opportunities. It takes collaboration across the entire ecosystem. Through the NexGen Tech Talent Day: Graduate Career Festival held recently, NTUC's Employment & Employability Institute, e2i brought together employers, industry partners, training providers and aspiring tech talent to create meaningful pathways into technology careers.

From the inaugural student hackathon, where students tackled real-world business challenges from UOB and Mandai Wildlife Group with guidance from AWS mentors, to Skills Lab workshops and on-site recruitment opportunities, participants gained valuable industry exposure, practical experience and connections with employers.
The event also connected young talent with ecosystem partners including IMDA, AWS, ISACA, HeiCoders and the NTUC Infocomm & Media Cluster, strengthening awareness of career opportunities, workforce support and professional development pathways within the technology sector.

At e2i, we remain committed to convening industry and workforce partners to help local talent build skills, gain industry exposure and access opportunities in Singapore's growing digital economy.
Thank you to all partners and employers who contributed to this shared effort.

As Singapore's digital economy continues to grow, demand for skilled technology talent remains strong across areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software engineering and digital transformation.

NTUC Secretary-General Ng Chee Meng 黄志明 joined close to 200 jobseekers, employer partners and industry stakeholders at yesterday's Tech Talent Career Fair, where he met jobseekers exploring opportunities in the technology sector, including professionals recently affected by organisational changes. Their determination to adapt, upskill and pursue new opportunities underscored the importance of connecting workers with employers, career guidance and pathways into in-demand tech roles.

Organised by NTUC's Employment and Employability Institute (e2i), together with NTUC and the Amalgamated Union of Statutory Board Employees (AUSBE), the fair brought together 12 employer partners and opportunities available through the Tech Elevation & Career Hub (TECH) platform, offering jobseekers access to close to 250 technology roles and more than 1,000 vacancies across the sector.

As technology continues to reshape industries and jobs today, access to skills development and employment opportunities remains critical in helping workers stay relevant and future-ready and e2i remains committed to helping workers build in-demand skills, strengthen career resilience and seize opportunities. Looking for your next opportunity in tech? Start with e2i.

Thank you to our participating employers and partners for supporting the growth of Singapore's tech workforce:
