Introduction to Growing Orchids

Keen to do some soilless gardening? Try your hand at growing orchids! Many tropical orchid species and hybrids are epiphytic. They thrive well without soil. Bring home your own orchid plant to start your gardening journey.

Over 2 hours, attendees will learn about:

What is an Orchid?
Diversity of orchids
Basic needs of an Orchid
Transplanting and propagation methods
Caring for your Orchid

We were deeply honoured to welcome Venerable S*k Kwang Sheng to our Orchid Show.

Venerable S*k is the Vice-President of the Singapore Buddhist Federation, the Abbot of Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, the founder of the Buddhist College of Singapore, and a Spiritual Patron of Buddhist Fellowship.

It was a privilege to share with him the beauty and diversity of orchids grown locally. Thank you, Venerable S*k, for gracing our show with your presence and support.
