📢 Calling all MoCa - Moulmein-Cairnhill residents. We need your vote to choose our next wayfinding murals at 🚇 Little India MRT Station!

Did you know that familiar, nostalgic objects can help to stimulate long-term memory and cognition? That's what our initiative is all about! It aims to help commuters living with dementia find their correct station exits more easily through colourful and memorable murals. These murals also celebrate the neighbourhood's rich heritage and add a touch of local charm to the station. 😊

In partnership with Dementia Singapore, we have shortlisted eight nostalgic items commonly found in Indian homes and shops in the past. These were illustrated by Jun Kai, an artist with autism from ARTDIS.

🌸🐰 Family Healthy Lifestyle – Our Culture Series
On 4 April 2026, about 40 residents joined us at MPH14, Farrer Park Road for a joyful morning of wellness and creativity. The programme began with simple exercises suitable even for seniors on wheelchairs, followed by the highlight of the day—Easter Egg Painting!
It was heartwarming to see residents’ happy faces as they painted and brought home their colourful creations. This event was made possible through our long‑term partnership with Foo Chow Methodist Church, and we thank them for their continued support in building a vibrant community together. 💜

🌿✨ Healthy Family Lifestyle – Our Culture Series: a collaboration between Farrer Park RN and Foo Chow Methodist Church.
On 7 March 2026, residents gathered at MPH14, Farrer Park Road for a meaningful morning of wellness and culture. The programme began with elderly‑friendly exercises—perfect for those less mobile—before moving into the highlight of the day: a lively Kueh Salat cooking demonstration.
Everyone had a wonderful time learning, tasting, and celebrating our shared heritage together. Thank you to all participants and partners for making this event such a success!
