🚶‍♀️❤️ WALK WITH ME

On 13 June 2026, 50 participants gathered at Springleaf Nature Park for CARE’s Walk with Me fundraising event.

This was not a walkathon, but a walk with purpose — walking alongside people living with HIV/AIDS and helping to replace fear and stigma with understanding, compassion and hope.

Along the way, participants journeyed through four meaningful stations:

Station 1
🌱 Understanding, Prevention & Removing Stigma – Learning about CARE's mission & our work, about HIV, how it is transmitted, and how knowledge can replace fear and misconceptions.

Station 2
🙏 Prayer Requests from Beneficiaries – Receiving personal prayer requests (card) written by CARE’s beneficiaries.

Station 3
🕊️ Prayer & Reflection – Taking time to pray for a beneficiary or reflect on what to write.

Station 4
🌳 Messages of Hope – Writing a message of hope or prayer for one of the beneficiaries and placing it on our Tree of Hope.

The journey continued with a walk to CARE shelter, where participants toured the shelter and activity areas, met the CARE community, and supported our beneficiaries by purchasing their handmade handicrafts.

Thank you to everyone who walked with us, prayed with us, and supported CARE. Together, we walk from stigma towards understanding, from homelessness towards stability, and from uncertainty towards hope. ❤️

CARE was honoured to attend the PEERS – Partners Engaging and Empowering Rough Sleepers Appreciation Dinner at JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La on 19 August 2026.

We are deeply grateful and humbled to receive the New Partner Award! 🏆❤️

This recognition encourages us to continue walking alongside people experiencing homelessness, offering support, dignity, hope and a pathway towards stability and independence.

A heartfelt thank you to PEERS and all our partners for the meaningful collaboration and shared commitment to supporting rough sleepers in Singapore.
