Mercylight Animal Rescue And Sanctuary Limited is a Singaporean animal welfare charity run by a group of animal lovers who have a strong desire to care for the animals, by helping them find the right homes. Our mission is to improve the quality of lives of stray dogs through rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing them; to increase public awareness and acceptance of stray dogs as companion animals an

d that they deserved to be treated with compassion and kindness. The more viral it goes, the higher chance these lovely animals will find their homes. Note:

Known for her sweet smile, beautiful chocolate-coloured coat, this 8-year-old girl is a familiar and much-loved face around the shelter.

Every morning, Amigo and her besties, Dino and Koda, are always among the first to eagerly set off for their walk together! 🐕🐕🐕

With her mellow, gentle and easygoing personality, Amigo would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a laidback best friend to brighten their days. 🥰

Look Ma, it’s me all grown up! (Swipe to see me age backwards!)



My mummy was rescued on 14 May 2020. Just a few days later, me and my 7 other siblings were born in the shelter!

Since then, I have grown biiiiiiiigggggg and strong! I love seeking affection from humans - both in their adult and youngling forms. I am, however, selective about my doggie friends so I need someone who can manage me as I am a big muscle baby 💪🏋️‍♀️

Smile! It’s the weekend!

Giving you her sweetest smile today is Grateful Blessing.

Grateful and her puppy were accidental rescue. We were supposed to redeem our missing brown dog from AVA.
So when AVA said that they have found our dog, we rushed down to redeem it. But when we arrived, we found out it was a different dog.
They were so excited to see us, so we decided to redeem them.

Grateful is super friendly and very affectionate even to new faces. She will greet you enthusiastically and welcome you with a big sweet smile.
She walks well on leash and follows your lead.
She also gets along with other dogs especially puppies. She loves playing with them and caring for them.

She might be protective over her food and toys but it can be easily managed with setting some ground rules and boundaries.

Grateful has distinctive natural black eye liners and shiny brown color fur coat that make her oh, so beautiful!
This gorgeous lady is still looking for her forever home and she will be such a great and wonderful addition to your family.

You will be pleased to know that she is also HDB-approved. Yay!

Looks like we have beautiful weather today. Will you bring me out to play?



We really should have named Honest "Lover Boy" instead. Bouncy and happy all the time (maybe because he only has a single brain cell 🤭), Honest loves to eat, loves to walk, and loves to play! He also loves humans and constantly seeks out attention from his favourite volunteers.

If you're looking for a super affectionate dog who will give you all his love and more, Honest is the one! He's also HDB-approved.

If you’ve been looking for a sign to adopt a senior dog, this is it - meet Jayjay (Uncle) 😋


Jayjay was initially adopted as a puppy back in 2013, but was taken back under our care in 2022 as we found out that he was no longer given the attention and proper care he needed.

Since then, he has naturally assumed the role of Mealtime Announcer 📢 As a huge foodie, one whiff of mealtime gets him all excited and drooly 🤤so of course he will be announcing it to all his friends!

Not only that, Jayjay can also grow to become affectionate and will never say no to pets once he warms up to you 🥰 How can one resist his charming smile?

HELPING TO REHOME

We are looking for to bring these two good temperament furkids home as something has happened to their owner. They have lost some weight while adjusting to their temporary places.

These dogs are up for adoption:
- 7 year old Standard Poodle Male (neutered)
- ⁠7 year old Weimaraner Male (neutered)

Lashon is one happy boy! ❤️

At 9 years old, this sweet gentleman still knows exactly how to have a good time, whether he’s playing with his shelter mates, zooming around the pool, or enjoying a fun day out with his girlfriend Naomi! 🥰🐾

He’s gentle, easy-going and absolutely loves being around his friends. Seeing him run, play and simply enjoy himself is a beautiful reminder of the happy, loving dog he is. 💙

And if you’ve got room in your heart for two, Lashon and Naomi would love nothing more than to find a forever home together. 🥹❤️ They make such a lovely pair!
