MercyLight Adoption We are posting information on dogs that are ready for adoption here regularly, and we seek your support in spreading the word for us.

Mercylight Animal Rescue And Sanctuary Limited is a Singaporean animal welfare charity run by a group of animal lovers who have a strong desire to care for the animals, by helping them find the right homes. Our mission is to improve the quality of lives of stray dogs through rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing them; to increase public awareness and acceptance of stray dogs as companion animals and that they deserved to be treated with compassion and kindness. The more viral it goes, the higher chance these lovely animals will find their homes. Note:

1) Please practice discretion and social media etiquette when posting. The administrators take a neutral stance in any disputes.

Saint is wishing for blue skies to return! But even through the haze, it's crystal clear what a handsome boy he is!



Saint was easily the most popular pup of his litter due to his attractive colouring and quickly adopted. However, he was returned to our shelter just 1 year later, all skin and bones. He was later diagnosed with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency which means his body does not produce enough enzymes to digest his food properly. Now on the right medication and diet, Saint is at a healthy weight, and back to his handsome self!

Dogs are family so it's disappointing when people fail them and give up when things get difficult. They have the wonderful ability to forgive though and Saint is still a happy and affectionate boy today, waiting for his real forever family who will never let him down.

Honestly, no one does puppy dog eyes like Macy Blessing 🥹


Food-motivated, cuddly, & absolutely adorable - what more can one ask for from a new furry family member? ❤️‍🩹
While waiting patiently for her furrever family, Macy has picked up obedience training, otherwise spending her days snoozing and pigging out whenever possible 🐽 On outings with volunteers, Macy also enjoys rolling around in the grass and sniffing the flowers on the way 🌸

Whether you’re a homebody or a nature-lover, Macy would be a perfect companion 🥰

Although my name is Dino, I’m actually a dog! 🐶

Unlike dinosaws, I am very chill and not scary. I love playing with my furiends and going out on walks with them!

Speaking of furiends, I have many of them at Mercylight but my favourites are Koda and Amigo. Did I mention? I have a twin and her name is Macy!

Sometimes I like to steal their beds but that’s a story for another day. One day I shall conquer the best bed of all - the hoomans’ 🤪

Behind that handsome black coat is a gentle, laid-back boy who loves nothing more than a little affection and a whole lot of cuddles. With his super soft fur and easygoing nature, Koda is a joy to walk, easy to feed, and gets along well with other dogs. Got some free time and want to use it meaningfully?👀

We’re looking for more helping hands to join us as kennel volunteers on a weekly basis! Your roles would include anything from walking and feeding our dogs to keeping their living spaces clean. Your role is important in ensure that our dogs are well cared for! Minimum commitment for this role is consecutive 4 months - more info can be found on the third and last slide.

If your schedule is tight but you’d still like to help out, we’re also looking for sewing/ packing team volunteers! Minimum commitment period is consecutive 6 months - more info can be found on the third and last slide.

Look into my dazzling eyes and be enchanted by my beauty!

Showing you her gorgeous eyes today is Amigo Blessing.
Amigo was redeemed from NParks.
She was unsure of humans and didn’t like us to touch her at first.
But slowly and surely with much love, patience, and time, she opened up to us and she is a different dog now.
She greets us happily and enjoys her daily walks.

Amigo understands basic commands and she is capable of more with proper training and guidance.
She has beautiful brown color fur coat and a pair of mesmerising eyes that will melt your heart instantly.
This beauty is looking for her forever home and she will be a great addition to your family.
You will be pleased to know that she is also HDB-approved. Yay!

Can't decide on a brown dog or a black dog? How about both?

Tasha Blessing

6 year-old Tasha was born with a blind eye but that has never stopped her from living life to the fullest! She is incredibly playful and loves going on walks and adventures.

Haze = limited outdoor activities? No worries - Tasha loves her toys and can happily expend her energy playing indoors too! She's also food-motivated and can be taught to do tricks with treats!

Tasha is picky with dog friends though, but she is muzzle-trained and can be introduced safely to socialise with new dogs. She has even gone on overnight staycations with our adopter whose dog she is good friends with - follow her staycation adventures at Tasha Blessing

Tasha is HDB-approved.

With big ears and a sunny smile, it’s hard not to fall in love with 14 year old Grateful Blessing! Even with her sweet face and laidback personality, Grateful has remained at our shelter for 10 years, and she’s still looking forward to the day she gets a loving family who will enjoy her golden years alongside her.

While she is protective over food, water bowls and toys, this can be managed with consistency and clear ground rules. She walks great on a leash and loves a good affectionate scratch now and again!

A next level foodie, Honest eats like he had been starved even if he was just fed 2 minutes ago. This food motivation him an amazing candidate for training! He is also an affectionate boy, often approaching volunteers for on his own accord and leaning into you. This silly boy enjoys the personal attention as well as pets and hugs.

Honest is a funny boy sure to make you laugh. He even has a specific expression of great concentration as he takes his daily p**p. See that and more of Honest's antics at on Instagram.

Meet Jay Jay 🤍


At 13 years old, Jay Jay is looking for a loving home to spend his golden years in.

Adopted from MercyLight as a puppy in 2013, he returned to our care in 2022 after his family’s circumstances changed. Today, he’s a gentle, sweet boy with no behavioural issues. Thunderstorms are his only fear, so he’ll need a cosy, safe space when the skies get loud. 🐾
