Doors open from 6pm at Pan Pacific Singapore, so come early in your best Peranakan chic! Shop our bazaar, sip on Brass Lion Distillery Gin & Tonics and enjoy live station bites before we sit down to our 8-course Peranakan feast.

A huge thank you to our wonderful chefs, especially those who have flown in from around the region to share their recipes and serve up their specialities at tonight’s live stations.

Held in conjunction with The Peranakan Festival, The Saturday Movement's annual fundraising event promises an evening filled with all things that celebrates the Peranakan spirit - food, fashion and fabulous fun. Here's a sneak peek at one of the evening's highlights - a runway show featuring one of Indonesia's best-kept fashion secrets, Batik Chic, and their latest collection of gorgeous ready-to-wear kebayas.

Celebrating 61 years of Singapore's journey! 🇸🇬 Today, we hosted a joyful National Day lunch for 120 of our beloved senior beneficiaries. We shared good food (thank you for the KFC treat!), warm laughter, and heartfelt memories, honoring the pioneers who built our home. Here is to many more years of unity and care. Majulah Singapura!

Your support for The Saturday Movement now goes even further.

We are proud to share that TSM has been approved as an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), effective 3 August 2026.

Qualifying donations received by TSM from 3 August onwards are eligible for a 250% tax deduction. This means that for every $1 donated, $2.50 may be deducted from the donor’s taxable income.

With our Charity Gala taking place on 15 August, you can support our fundraising efforts even if you are unable to attend. Every donation helps us continue providing weekly meals, befriending and community programmes for seniors in Lengkok Bahru and Redhill.

For those who would like to attend, a limited number of Gala tables remains, available at $5,500 and $11,000 each. The full amount donated for new Gala tables paid for from 3 August onwards is also eligible for the 250% tax deduction.

It's almost the ONE MONTH COUNTDOWN to our Annual Charity Gala. Icymi, this is THE fundraising event of the year here at The Saturday Movement, happening on 15 August 2026 at Pan Pacific Singapore. Join the Peranakan-themed revelry and party towards a meaningful cause - feeding and caring for more than 600 isolated and vulnerable elderly residents in our community.

Fruits of our senior volunteers' labour - jambu ayer and grapes, yes, GRAPES. On our sunny island, right out of The Saturday Movement's very own community garden at Block 57 Lengkok Bahru, right behind The Peranakan restaurant. It was no easy feat setting up and managing this small green space where the community could come together and enjoy a spot of gardening and the warmth of the sun on their backs. Kudos to our lead resident volunteers who tirelessly ensure the garden is well-tended to and free of mozzie breeding spots. The gardening club meets every Tuesday afternoon.

Torrential rain hasn't dampened the midweek fighting spirit of our seniors as they give it their all in our weekly chair Zumba on Wednesday. The fun and rowdy session gets their blood pumping and limbs moving, so it's a favourite activity for many of our regulars. After this, they look forward to a hearty breakfast. Life's good.
