Ten years ago, SICF started as a simple dream: to bring the world’s voices together on one stage.

Looking out into the halls this year for our 10th edition, seeing thousands of singers from every corner of the globe sharing that same stage, it’s hard not to feel a little choked up.

Ten years of late-night rehearsals, stage nerves, goosebumps in the wings, and friendships that crossed every border. This reel is just a small piece of the magic everyone brought to Singapore this year.

To every singer who gave their heart, every conductor who led with passion, and everyone who helped us build a decade of harmony, Thank You! We did this together.

What an incredible day of music-making at the Cornerstone Series! 🌟

From the elegant lines of Caccini and the inter-generational warmth of Rutter, to the complex, rich textures of Rheinberger, we loved watching our singers dive deep into choral artistry with Lim Ai Hooi.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the SOTA Concert Hall and poured their heart into “more than just the notes.” 🎶✨

The Cornerstone Series with Lim Ai Hooi

The Cornerstone Series is more than a rehearsal. It is an invitation into the world of choral excellence. Led by Lim Ai Hooi, this chorister series is designed for singers who seek to move beyond "just the notes" and into the heart of choral artistry.

Each 2.5-hour session offers a rare glimpse into Lim Ai Hooi’s rehearsal philosophy, exploring the nuances of vocal color, the precision of ensemble blend, and the deep musicality that has become her hallmark. Participants will experience her unique process of transforming a score into a living, breathing narrative.

Join us on Saturday, 13 June for three distinct sessions tailored to different age groups and technical levels:

🎶 Session 1 (10:30h - 13:00h) | SSA (Ages 16 and below)
Repertoire: Ave Maria – Giulio Caccini (arr. Patrick M. Liebergen)
Focusing on the technical and artistic foundations of treble singing.

🎶 Session 2 (14:00h - 16:30h) | SATB (Ages 9 and above)
Repertoire: For the Beauty of the Earth – John Rutter
An inviting session for parents, kids, and singers of all ages to build a unified ensemble sound.

🎶 Session 3 (19:00h - 21:30h) | SATB (Recommended ages 16 and above)
Repertoire: Abendlied – Josef Rheinberger
Recommended for singers aged 16 and above, this session focuses on Abendlied, a renowned piece of Romantic choral literature.

Bilety na koncert z okazji Dnia Dziecka rozeszły się jak ciepłe bułeczki, a było ich 850 😊.

Ale przed nami kolejne fantastyczne wydarzenia – koncerty z ONE Chamber Choir z Singapuru!

Te Multimedialne wydarzenia będą umożliwiały poznanie egzotycznego państwa – miasta Singapur i jego różnorodnej kultury. Nasi znakomici goście zaprezentują szeroki wachlarz utworów, a oba chóry wykonają wspólnie: „Singapore Town” autorstwa Cherie Chai oraz polskie utwory: „Płynie Wisła, płynie” i „Vivat Polonia” Łukasza Farcinkiewicza.

Koncerty odbędą się:
18.06.2026 r. w Centrum Sztuki Mościce w Tarnowie dla młodzieży szkół średnich oraz 19.06.2026 r. w Europejskim Centrum Muzyki Krzysztofa Pendereckiego w Lusławicach – dla wszystkich zainteresowanych melomanów.

Po koncercie w Lusławicach odbędzie się również spotkanie z dyrygentami, chórzystami, osobami zainteresowanymi śpiewem. Będzie to wyjątkowa okazja, by bezpośrednio porozmawiać z dyrygentką Ai Hooi Lim oraz chórzystami ONE Chamber Choir i uzyskać informacje na temat ich warsztatu, sposobu pracy. O możliwości udziału decyduje kolejność zgłoszeń.
