It's been a week since Gunong Sayang invited kawan kawan from One Punggol Club Senior Citizens' Committee, Punggol Coast Active Ageing Committee and Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities to catch Batu Bo Makan Gegat as part of our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative. Kamsiah to each for joining us. It was with much warmth and enthusiasm that we met after the performance for a meet and greet as well as to present our goody bags to them. What a night to remember!

We were deeply honoured to welcome President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, our Guest of Honour, accompanied by Ms Jane Ittogi at the Gala Night of “Batu Bo Makan Gegat” (The Impossible).

From the energy on stage to the warmth and laughter from the audience, it was a wonderful evening celebrating Peranakan culture, community and the enduring spirit of Wayang Peranakan.
