Gita Jayanti Singapore is pleased to invite you and your family for Gita Havan on Sunday, 2 August 2026 at PGP Hall.

Please join the Gita Parayan (chanting) and participate in the Havan also. Kindly note the proceedings will start at 6:30am with Sankalpam, Ganapathy Homam and Poorvanga Pooja.

Gita Parayan is expected to commence around 8.30am with Poornahuti and other poojas taking place around 11.30am.
Everyone can offer Ahuti for Bhagavad Gita shlokas in the Havan kunds. Participation is free.

Familiarity with the Gita verses will be an advantage but not a must to participate in the Havan and offer Ahuti.

After the final Aarati, lunch will served around 1:00pm.

Gita Vani 2026 will be distributed at the Havan. Please collect your copy at the reception counter. Jai Shri Krishna!

Speaker: Pujya Yoganand Swami is a prominent monk and scholar of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. He is widely known for his modern, practical discourses on Hindu scriptures, such as the Bhagavad Gita and the Ramayan, which blend timeless spiritual wisdom with contemporary life. Born and raised in the United States, he initially pursued higher education in the medical field, completing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and attending medical school. He shifted his life path and was initiated as a Sadhu (Swami) in 2005 by his guru, Pramukh Swami Maharaj. He spent 14 years studying Hindu scriptures and languages in an ashram in India. He completed advanced Sanskrit grammar, a Bachelor’s degree in Puranic Scriptures, and an Acharya (Master's degree) in Vedanta from Shree Somnath Sanskrit University. Since 2019, Swamiji has been primarily based at the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, New Jersey (USA).
