We talk about mental health—but what does it actually look like in real life? 🧠💬

We asked 3 of our teammates to share:
💬 what mental health means to them
💗 their go-to self-care practices
🫂 how they support the people around them
✏️ advice they’d give to others

Caring for our mental well-being starts with open conversations and showing up for one another. ❤️

When young people are empowered to lead with purpose, their impact can inspire others to step forward and make a difference too.

As a PVPA 2025 People of Good - Student winner, Natania Tan has continued to champion a mindset of service through mentoring, volunteering, and supporting community initiatives. The recognition also opened doors for her organisation to connect with a wider network, share opportunities with other youths, and encourage more young people to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Her journey shows how consistent acts of service can inspire others, strengthen communities, and create meaningful impact over time.

When meaningful work is recognised, it can open the doors to even greater impact.
As a PVPA 2025 Leaders of Good (Youth) winner, Alister Ong has continued to champion disability inclusion through advocacy, public engagement, and partnerships.

Since receiving the award, he has been elected Co-Chair of the Singapore Business Network on Disability, spoke at a global conference in Hong Kong on inclusion and Asian values, and was accepted into Harvard’s Masters in Public Administration (MPA) programme.

His journey reflects how recognition can strengthen visibility, open new opportunities, and amplify conversations surrounding inclusion and accessibility.

Every Youth Deserves a Way Forward 🚀
Behind every "way forward" is a story of resilience, a helping hand, and a dream waiting to take flight. ✨

In our latest series, we’re spotlighting the incredible journeys of youths who have turned challenges into triumphs with the support of our community partners:

Rayyan (=DREAMS Singapore): From an aspiring animator to being accepted into Communication Design at ITE! 🎨

Syaqirah (=DREAMS Scholar): Finding her voice through public speaking and growing from a quiet introvert to a confident student. 🎤

Yong-en (Prodigal Co): Unleashing creativity through ceramic-painting workshops to contribute meaningfully to fundraising efforts. 🏺

Shahnaaz (REACH): Overcoming personal instability to thrive academically with the dedicated support of her caseworker. 📚

Project Pari (Zonta Club): Empowering girls from low-income families through mentorship, creating a cycle of giving back. 👭

Every youth has the potential to shine; sometimes, they just need the right spark. You can be that spark! 🌟
