In a world driven by technological advancement, how do businesses ensure no one is left behind?

At the third Corporate Purpose Roundtable (CPR), SBF Foundation convened our strategic donors and partners for thoughtful conversations on driving collective social impact in a rapidly evolving world.

Hosted by our Chairman, Ms Janet Ang, we were honoured to welcome Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, whose insights and presence anchored discussions on pressing themes shaping our shared future. From creating pathways for vulnerable communities to strengthening mentorship for young Singaporeans, the conversations underscored a shared conviction that inclusion must remain at the heart of Singapore's increasingly tech-enabled future.

A heartfelt thank you to our strategic donors and partners for sharing your corporate purpose initiatives.

If your organisation would like to be part of this collective action, please reach out to [email protected].

Sometimes, all it takes is one person to change the direction of a young life.

As a business leader, you've navigated challenges, made difficult decisions, and learned lessons that no textbook can teach. What if your experience became the light that helps a young person find their way?

As a Connector with Youth Connections, you'll be paired with a youth to share your journey, broaden their perspectives, and help them build confidence as they prepare for the world of work. You don't need to have all the answers. Sometimes, simply listening, encouraging, and believing in someone is enough to change their future. Your influence extends far beyond the boardroom. Because when businesses invest in young people, we build a stronger, more inclusive future for Singapore.

Step forward. Become a Youth Connector today.

Last Friday, MigrantWell Singapore (MWS), an initiative of SBF Foundation, was honoured to host Minister Tan See Leng, alongside our founding donors, board directors, and key business leaders at St. Andrew's Migrant Worker Medical Centre (SAMWMC).

Our guests toured the Medical Centre to see their support in action โ€” from primary care to the dental, physiotherapy, and psychological services. These are funded through our donors, including those present.

Our deepest appreciation to Edward and James Khoo from the Estate of Khoo Teck Puat and Edward Ng from the Estate of Ng Teng Fong, as well as representatives from Woh Hup, Centurion Corporation, DLM Pte Ltd, the Migrant Workers' Assistance Fund and Migrant Workersโ€™ Centre. Your support has sustained the wellbeing of our migrant workforce.

We are especially grateful that Minister Tan joined us in one of his final engagements as Minister for Manpower, and wish him every success as Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry).

We are thankful to everyone who has helped make healthcare more accessible for migrant workers. Find out more about how you can support MWS here: https://rb.gy/6dr9i0

Have you ever tried to walk in someone else's shoes?

Sometimes, the most meaningful insights come from experiencing perspectives that challenge our assumptions and deepen our understanding.

SBF Foundation's In Their Shoes 2026 invites you to immerse yourself into a learning journey of the lived realities of poverty, homelessness, mental well-being and social vulnerability in Singapore.

We invite you to walk "In Their Shoes" and discover why this empathy building experience continues to inspire leaders to lead with greater purpose.

At SBF Foundationโ€™s Community Marketplace 2026, close to 100 corporate leaders connected with 22 community partners on 1 July 2026 to turn intent into action for inclusive hiring.

In her opening remarks, Ms Yap Su-Yin, Chief Executive Officer of SBF Foundation, launched the SBF Foundationโ€™s Strategic Talent Playbook, a practical resource for employers embarking on their journey toward more inclusive workplaces. Supported by Singapore Business Federation and in collaboration with Trampolene, the playbook helps organisations understand inclusive hiring from a business perspective, assess their readiness, and build the right foundation to create meaningful job opportunities for vulnerable communities.

Moderated by Mr Jeffrey Tan, SBF Foundation's Director of Programmes and Partnerships, the panel discussion "From Intent to Impact: Making Inclusive Hiring Work in Practice" yielded critical insights into inclusive hiring for business leaders.
๐Ÿ‘‰Ms Sihui Chen, Director of Gourmetz Singapore Learning Support reminded business leaders that โ€œinclusive hiring works when employers embrace an open mindset and give employees the opportunity to perform according to their abilities.โ€
๐Ÿ‘‰Ms Pamela Chng, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bettr Group, emphasised the role of psychological safety, noting that โ€œleaders must create safe spaces so employees feel heard and empowered to share challenges,โ€ keeping the focus on solutions rather than blame.
๐Ÿ‘‰Drawing key insights from the Strategic Talent Playbook, Mr Tan Francis, Chief Executive Officer of Trampolene, put it powerfully: โ€œWhile everyone is fishing in the same pond, inclusive employers are discovering new sources of talent.โ€
