A simple distribution with meaningful connections throughout the day. 🫂

RLAF partnered with REACH Community Services and went door-to-door to distribute our $60 supermarket vouchers to residents in the area. Every knock on a door and every conversation carried that spirit of togetherness, as we delivered financial assistance through vouchers where it was needed.

A special heartfelt thanks to REACH for this wonderful collaboration, and for the opportunity to extend our outreach, bringing us closer to our mission in spreading 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥 ❤️✨

1 in 3 middle-aged women in Singapore experienced anxiety symptoms. Yet many were less likely to seek help despite feeling distressed.

Misconceptions surrounding mental health and mental illness can make it harder for people to recognise when support is needed or to reach out for help.

Through our Myth vs Fact series, we hope to foster understanding, challenge misconceptions, and create a community where seeking support is seen as a sign of strength, not weakness.

“𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞” 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

The works of Seniors and Youths of REACH Community Services have been featured at the Singapore Management University Photography Exhibition and SCAPE , alongside photographs by beneficiaries from other social service agencies.

For our seniors who attended the Mobile Photography Workshop earlier this year, the joy was especially meaningful—they were thrilled to discover that the photos they had taken were now being exhibited for others to appreciate. During the exhibition, they also had the opportunity to reconnect and interact with the Project Obscura volunteers who guided them throughout their photography journey.

Our youths also had their photographs showcased, highlighting their creativity and perspectives using professional camera equipment. Beyond learning photography skills, the experience gave them a platform to express themselves, build confidence and see their own ideas and stories valued by others.

We’re grateful to Project Obscura for creating opportunities for our seniors and youths to explore, create and be seen through photography. We look forward to continuing this meaningful collaboration in 2027, bringing the initiative to more of our Active Ageing Centres and reaching even more seniors.
