Tiong Bahru Community Centre

Tiong Bahru Community Centre The idea of opening a community centre building was first materialized in July 1951, located in Eu Chin Street at a cost of $20,000.

Your go-to space to connect with neighbours and stay in the know! 👋🏻 We’re all about building friendships, strengthening bonds, and growing a vibrant community with heart. ❤️ Follow us for the latest happenings in our ‘hood! After some fruitful years, former air raid shelters located in the quadrangle bordered by Tiong Poh Road, Guan Chuan Street, Seng Poh Road and Eng Watt street were converted f

or use as the Community Centre's administrative offices, library and classrooms. It was officially launched and re-opened to the public in October, 1960.
