Congratulations to NTUC Secretary-General Ng Chee Meng 黄志明 on his appointment to Cabinet.
Over the years, he has worked closely with our unions, engaged workers on the ground, and remained steadfast in advancing the interests of workers in Singapore. He listens, understands, and takes action. We have been privileged to work alongside him and look forward to his continued leadership for our members and workers.
His appointment by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong recognises the important role of NTUC and the Labour Movement in ensuring workers’ voices are represented in national policy discussions. As Singapore continues to transform, it is crucial that workers remain supported and well-positioned for future opportunities.
Ng Chee Meng has always encouraged us to think of new ways to better serve our members. His favourite motto, “Dream. Dare. Do.”, reflects both his leadership and commitment to workers.
We wish him every success in this new chapter and look forward to achieving even more together for workers in Singapore. 🇸🇬💪
