Last week, we had the opportunity to host our friends from Singapore at our 6th (and newest centre) at Bedok, which will serve as a centre for us to mentor children aged 4 to 14 through culinary and creative arts.
It was a special morning for us – being able to share about Life Community’s future plans and past work, as well as an extended and candid exchange about ground‑up feedback on evaluation frameworks and shared insights on fractional workforce support

We are grateful for NCSS’s continued support in actively listening and addressing the various needs of our organisation as we work hard on the ground to empower every child to be the best that they can be.

Most of all, we want to offer a deeply-felt thank you to NCSS CEO Lim Shung Yar and team for partnering with us not just as a funder or evaluator, but as a thoughtful partner in strengthening our capabilities, and in sharing with us a common and genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Our Golf For Life! fundraiser is TOMORROW 🏌️💛

For 11 years, this event has helped us fund mentoring programmes for children and families from vulnerable backgrounds who need it the most. This year, we're looking to do the same.

But we're not there yet. With the event just hours away now, we're making one final push to hit our fundraising goal of $500,000 — and every donation, whether big or small, brings us one step closer towards making this dream happen.

✨ 30 Years of Sowing Seeds, Building Dreams ✨

What a beautiful evening it was last week as we gathered to celebrate Life Community’s 30th Anniversary 💛

From heartfelt tributes by our children, to stories of mentoring journeys, and moments of laughter, music, and reflection - every part of the night reminded us why we do what we do.

We witnessed the power of child-centred mentoring - how one caring adult, one consistent presence, can truly change the course of a child’s life. 🌱

To our donors, partners, and volunteers: thank you for faithfully sowing seeds of hope over the years. Your love, time, and commitment have made it possible for our children to feel seen, supported, and empowered to dream again.

A special thank you to our Guests of Honour, Dr Tony Tan & Mrs Mary Tan, for gracing the evening and for your heart for the community.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to building a home where every child can belong, grow, and thrive together.

As of 1 April 2026, Life Community Services Society has transitioned to Life Community Ltd., a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG).

This marks an important step forward as we strengthen our governance and support the continued growth of our work.

While our legal structure has evolved, our heart remains the same — to empower children and families through care and mentoring, so that every child can be the best that they can be! 💛

There is no change to our programmes, and we remain deeply committed to the children and communities we serve. Tax-deductible receipts for qualifying donations will continue to be issued.

Thank you for being part of our story and for walking this journey with us ✨

As we wrap up our 3-day series, our children’s heartfelt words remind us why we do what we do - creating a space where every child feels seen, supported, and valued. 🌟

As we head into our 30th Anniversary Dinner tomorrow, we celebrate not just the years, but the lives, relationships, and moments that have shaped our journey.
