New Life Community Services Supporting children, families, youths and seniors through practical care and support.

New Life Community Services (New Life or NLCS) is a social service agency passionate about serving children, youth, and seniors in the community. We operate twelve childcare centres, three student care centres and two youth hubs with an emphasis on imparting life skills and character values to the next generation. We conduct literacy and character mentoring programmes for disadvantaged children, a

s well as after-school engagement programmes and groupwork for youths. We also believe in improving the situations of marginalised families with schooling children so that the latter will be adequately supported as they grow up. To that end, we provide families with financial assistance, casework management and counselling to address financial and social issues. We conduct active ageing programmes to support the needs of the elderly, an often isolated and marginalised group in society. Our faith-based ethos motivates us to love and care for each person with the love that our God shows to us. Over the years, we have reached out to thousands of individuals from different religions and races – with absolutely no strings attached.

Congratulations to our incredible children who just graduated from our Steady Readers programme! We are immensely proud of their hard work and determination 🥳

Over the past many months, these young learners have dedicated themselves to strengthening their reading skills, sounding out tough words, and building their confidence step by step.

A massive thank you to our dedicated volunteers and partners who walked this journey alongside them, creating a safe, encouraging space to learn.

None of this happened accidentally. It took generous donors and funders who believed in our mission, dedicated volunteers who showed up, community partners who walked alongside us, and a team that gives everything to this work.

It’s rare to get our entire team in one place, but we made it happen! 🚌✨
Earlier this month, we headed over to Grand Paragon, JB, for our Annual Staff Retreat. Between the activities and the downtime, it was the perfect opportunity to catch up across different teams, welcome our new joiners, and bond outside the office.

Centred around the theme “Rooted & Connected,” the trip was a great pause to reflect on our mission and the community work that brings us together.

Something a little different happened at New Life Friends’ Day this year ❤️

Our Silvercare seniors across our AAC and hubs have been busy bees! For weeks, they’ve poured their creativity and patience into beautiful handicrafts, elegant calligraphy, and vibrant paintings. 🎨

Those masterpieces found new homes during our mini fundraiser across all three Covenant EFC centres last weekend. The best part? Every dollar raised goes directly back into our Silvercare Programmes, empowering our seniors to age with dignity in a community where they can always grow and thrive.

To everyone who dropped by, cheered them on, or took home a piece of art, thank you for making our seniors feel like the stars they are! ✨

144 golfers. $260,500 raised!

Our New Life Charity Golf at Seletar Country Club this year was made possible by the generosity and commitment of our donors and partners who believe in the work we do.

We are grateful to Ms Sim Ann 沈颖, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Ministry of Home Affairs, and Adviser to Holland-Bukit Timah GRC GROs (Bukit Timah), for joining us, along with our special guests Mr Liang Eng Hwa, Adviser to Bukit Panjang SMC GROs, and Mr Edward Chia, Adviser to Holland-Bukit Timah GRC GROs (Zhenghua).

Even with the changing weather and the tournament being cut short, the spirit of the day remained strong. Golfers showed great camaraderie throughout, and the evening kept the energy going with an exciting auction, engaging performances from New Life Preschool and Vivo La Vida, and a lively lucky draw.
