Chua Chu Kang Toastmasters Club Chapter meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at Chua Chu Kang Community Club at 7:15 PM. The club is part of District 80, Division Z, Area Z2.

Additionally, there may be a Project Day on the fourth Thursday of odd-numbered months. Chua Chu Kang Toastmasters Club was chartered on September 1, 1995 (Club No. 7702). Members meet every second Thursday of the month at 7:15 PM in the Conference Room ( #04-07) at Chua Chu Kang Community Club for the monthly Chapter Meeting. Additionally, we may have a Project Day on the fourth Thursday of odd-numbered months.

This September, Chua Chu Kang Toastmasters Club proudly celebrates its 31st Anniversary! 🎉

Founded on 1st September 1995, CCKTMC has been a warm and supportive home in the West of Singapore for more than three decades — where members grow into confident speakers, effective leaders, and lifelong friends.

From nervous first speeches to Distinguished Toastmasters, from Table Topics that make us laugh to projects that push us to new heights — every journey has made us stronger together.

To every member, past and present, every mentor, and every guest who has walked through our doors: thank you. You are the reason CCKTMC continues to shine as:

The Chua Chu Kang Toastmasters Club was chartered on 1 September 1995. On 7 September 2025, we commemorated our 30th Anniversary with a celebration 🎉. We are grateful for the friendship of so many past Club Presidents and members who played a role in our history. Gratitude is also extended to our Club Mentor and Sponsor (Aileen and Yen Lan, both being Distinguished Toastmasters) ok the year of our Charter; they were present at our party too! And who can forget the magic performed🙌by Uncle King (TM Ng Kah King). A shout out also to our friends from CCK Mandarin Toastmasters Club for their unwavering support! 🌻

With more than 30 years of experience as a public speaker and leader, Shenton has spent his career applying the power of effective communication both at work and in everyday life.

From corporate boardrooms to managing project teams, from leading volunteer organisations to coaching individuals, he has experienced first-hand how clear and effective communication can connect people, inspire others, and deliver results.

Today, Shenton continues to share his experience and help others grow in speaking and leadership through programmes such as Speechcraft.

On 13 August, we wrapped up a meaningful Chapter Meeting and Table Topics Workshop under the theme “Unity in Diversity” — a perfect reflection of Singapore’s National Day spirit. 🇸🇬❤️
A big thank you to every member, guest, and role holder who contributed their energy, ideas, and voices. Special appreciation goes to our EXCO and all who stepped up to make the session engaging, inclusive, and impactful. Your commitment turned the evening into a true celebration of connection, growth, and shared learning.
We are also grateful to Chua Chu Kang - Our Home for once again providing a warm and welcoming space for us to gather and grow together.
