The third edition of Pencak Persahabatan concluded successfully on 30 May 2026 at Fernvale Community Club.

The event brought together close to 280 pesilats from six different perguruan in a day dedicated to friendship, learning, sportsmanship, and the shared appreciation of our silat heritage.

As organisers and hosts, we are proud to have welcomed such a large gathering of practitioners from across the silat community. More importantly, the event provided a meaningful platform for pesilats of different ages, backgrounds, and schools of thought to come together in the true spirit of persaudaraan and mutual respect.

We were also deeply honoured to have our Advisor, Mr Ng Chee Meng take time out of his busy schedule to grace the event and lend his support to the participants, coaches, officials, volunteers, and families present.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all participating perguruan, coaches, wasit juri, team managers, volunteers, parents, and supporters whose dedication and cooperation made this gathering possible.

Your commitment ensured that the event remained safe, meaningful, and enjoyable for everyone involved.

We look forward to welcoming everyone again in future editions of Pencak Persahabatan.

Wishing all our Muslim residents and friends a blessed and meaningful Hari Raya Haji. Hari Raya Haji reminds us of sacrifice, gratitude, faith, and the importance of looking out for the wider community. It is a time that brings us closer together through shared values of compassion, generosity, and giving back to others.

Sending a special thought to all our Singapore pilgrims as they complete their Haj pilgrimage. May they have a safe and smooth journey home.

We are grateful and delighted to have shared the spirit of Ramadan with the residents of Jalan Kayu during our community buka puasa gathering. It was a wonderful evening of togetherness, reflection, and friendship as residents came together to break fast as one community.

We were also honoured to have our Adviser, Mr Ng, grace the event and spend time meeting and connecting with the residents.

To all our Malay-Muslim residents in Jalan Kayu, we wish you a blessed Ramadan. Selamat Berpuasa!
