Currently, there are about 360 corporate members which include most of the reputable and long-established jewellers in Singapore. Jewellery has long been regarded as one the of most precious and elegant ornaments available in the market. When making any purchase, the customer’s main concerns are the design, quality, workmanship, value of the jewellery and the reputation of the jeweller. The Associ
ation’s mission is to encourage members to follow a code of practice which is just and fair so as to protect the interests of consumers and also instill greater confidence in the jewellery industry. Members of the Association are also obliged to follow the code of practice as a minimum standard of the jewellery industry. The Association is also embarking on a series of training programs to improve the professionalism, service quality and product knowledge of its members, including the use of advanced technology to modernise the jewellery industry.
