What a heartwarming Saturday morning it was — good food, great conversations, and wonderful company! 💬✨

Residents gathered over crispy prata and teh tarik to catch up, share stories, and connect as neighbours. A special thank you to Adviser, Diana Pang 彭丽燕, PBM, for joining us and engaging warmly with everyone. 🙏💛

It was lovely to see so many smiles and lively exchanges around the tables — truly the kampung spirit at its best!

🌕✨ Geylang Serai Mid Autumn Festival 2025 — Thank You for Celebrating with Us! ✨🌕

What a magical evening it was at our Geylang Serai Mid Autumn Festival 2025! 🌸

We hope everyone had a wonderful time — and that the quick showers midway didn’t dampen our mood! In fact, the cooler weather made it perfect to stroll around the blocks with our lanterns glowing bright. 🌧️🏮

The night was filled with laughter, music, and community spirit as neighbours came together to celebrate under the moonlight. 🎶💫

A heartfelt thank you to our Adviser, Ms Diana Pang 彭丽燕, PBM, for joining us and celebrating this special evening with our residents. Your presence truly made the night more meaningful. 🙏✨

💖 Congratulations to all our Best Dressed in Traditional Costume winners — you were all stunning and added so much colour to the night!

🖌️ Our calligraphy and fan craft booths were a hit, with long queues and happy faces all around.

🎉 A special moment to remember: 60 residents writing calligraphy together to mark SG60 — a beautiful symbol of unity and heritage.

🎁 And of course, cheers to our Lucky Draw winners — hope you loved your prizes!

📢 Community Update

Please be informed that the Haig Road Market & Food Centre will be closed from 22 September to 22 December 2025 for upgrading and renovation works. 🛠️✨

We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but these improvements will make the market an even better place for all of us when it reopens.

In the meantime, do support our nearby food centres and hawker stalls in the community. Let’s continue to stay connected and look forward to welcoming back a refreshed Haig Road Market at the end of the year!

🌊 Celebrating 20 Years of HRTKRN with a Splash! 🌊

This year, the Haig Road – Tanjong Katong Residents’ Network marks our 20th Anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than with a special outing to the Oceanarium!🐠🐧🐟

We were thrilled to have 201 residents join us for a day filled with family fun, laughter, and discovery. To mark the occasion, every participant received a customised anniversary fan – a thoughtful keepsake to bring comfort in Singapore’s warm and humid weather, and a reminder of this special milestone.

But our celebration didn’t stop there. While having fun together, we also did good together. 💙 Our community took part in the FairPrice Walk for Health South East CDC - Your Social Broker – a meaningful initiative where every kilometre walked converts into supermarket vouchers to support vulnerable residents (1km = $1).

Together, our participants clocked an impressive 2572 km 👣✨ – turning every step into care for our wider community.

We are deeply grateful to our Adviser, Diana Pang 彭丽燕, for joining us and sharing her encouragement and support. 🙏

A big thank you to everyone who made this event possible and to all residents for being part of this meaningful journey. Here’s to many more years of connecting neighbours and building stronger communities! ❤️
