Manila, Philippines — On the last day, they were asked to leave the room.

Not because anything had gone wrong. Because another group needed the space, and the young people at the front — praying, weeping, worshipping — showed no sign of moving. From 26 July to 2 August 2026, twenty-nine young adults and leaders from nine nations gathered in Manila for ARROWS, part of The Cause movement and the first mission immersion of its kind organized by Nazarene Missions Mobilization Asia-Pacific. They came from Fiji, Myanmar, Australia, Papua New Guinea, South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, the United States, and Brazil. They left as arrows. Read more: https://bit.ly/4zu58Bt

Tagaytay City, Philippines — After more than two decades of mentoring young people, developing leaders, and serving the Church, Rev. Elsid Paragas has been named a recipient of the Timothy Award during the Asia-Pacific Nazarene Youth Conference held in Tagaytay City, Philippines, on 22-26 July 2026. For Ptr. Elsid, however, the award is not simply a celebration of personal achievement. It represents the many young people he has walked with, encouraged, mentored, and helped prepare for ministry. On 2 August 2026, Rehoboth Church of the Nazarene (GKN Rehoboth) in Wonreli, Kisar Island, Southwest Maluku, Indonesia, was officially organized under the leadership of Nusa Tenggara & Maluku District Superintendent Rev. Juni Kristian Telambanua. Established in 2010, the church now has 64 members and is led by Rev. Rosalina Ratusehaka.
