7th Dhul Hijjah marks the Urs/Hawl of Sayyiduna wa Imamuna Muhammad al-Baqir عليه السلا:

It is related that on one occasion a king, who wished to cause harm to him (Sayyiduna Imam Muhammad al-Baqir عليه السلام), invited him to his presence. When Sayyiduna Imam Baqir عليه السلام appeared, the king begged his pardon, bestowed gifts upon him, and dismissed him courteously.

On being asked why he had acted in this manner, the king replied: "When he came in, I saw two lions, one on his right hand and one on his left, who threatened to destroy me if I should attempt to do him any harm."

May Allah elevate their ranks and give us the strongest of connections to them, an attachment which benefits us in this life and the next.
