It started with a late lunch break in an industrial area canteen.
That's where we found quite a few of them, some already sterilised and some are not
— a female cat, visibly thin, who had just given birth somewhere nearby. And a gentle male, his body covered in fight wounds, losing to the bigger, more aggressive tom cats in the area.
The cleaner told us what had happened. The nearby offices had shut down. The people who used to feed them were gone. And now these cats — and many others like them — were wandering, hungry, and alone.
This is a story we know too well.
In Singapore's industrial areas, stray cat colonies are largely invisible. Hidden between warehouses and loading bays, these cats survive on the margins — until the day they don't.
When businesses close, their lifeline disappears overnight. What's left behind are hungry mothers, injured males, abandoned kittens, and cats in desperate need of medical care.
We didn't walk away.
We brought the wounded male to the vet for Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and treatment. We're now working to locate the female kittens before it's too late.
But this is just one colony, on one afternoon, in one industrial estate.
Your donation helps us:
💓Trap, neuter and return stray cats so colonies don't grow
💓Treat injured and sick cats who have no one else
💓Find and care for kittens before they become casualties
💓Keep showing up — even in the places most people never look
💓Provide food supplies and also supplements and flea and tick treatment
These cats didn't choose to be forgotten. But you can choose to help them.
Every dollar brings us back out there.
