Hope Centre (Singapore) is a non-profit voluntary welfare organisation established in 1997. Over the years, we have been recognised for our active contributions towards the society and have been granted charitable status (Charity Registration no. 1308). As a member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), Hope Centre is committed to improve the well-being of

all people in the community of Singapore and communities worldwide. Hope Centre is also affiliated to Hope Church (Singapore), and serve the community regardless of race, culture, language or religion. VISION
Our vision is to extend Christ’s love to our communities through practical help and action regardless of race, culture, language and religion. MISSION
Our mission is to operate centres that run meaningful social services and programmes for our communities.

We are opened from Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5.30pm.

On the 2nd day of CNY, we partnered with a group of students from to step into the community and bless residents living in Chinatown!

Through simple conversations, small gifts, and heartfelt prayers, we spent the afternoon sharing joy, encouragement, and reminding them that they are seen, loved, and not alone especially during the festive season. 🧧❤️

Like Crystabell said, serving doesn’t always look big, but it always starts with love. Thank you students for taking time to pour love into the community during this festive season!

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿! 🎉

On 2 January, we kicked off the year with our first intergenerational programme in collaboration with 𝗥𝗣 𝗡𝗬𝗔𝗔! Together, we welcomed the new year by teaching our beneficiaries how to make their own angbaos, playing fun games, and bonding over a shared meal.

A big thank you to the RP NYAA volunteers for taking the time to bless our beneficiaries with your energy, care, and presence. 💚

Christmas joy in action! 🎄✨

On 16 December, Hope Centre partnered with Fitness Mode and Bouncefit to distribute 160 Christmas packs to families living in rental flats. Thank you, Fitness Mode and Bouncefit for spreading cheer this festive season and for being part of this meaningful initiative!

On 29 Nov, something special happened at Hope Centre.

Executive Director Soh Chin Heng partnered with to equip our community through the CPF & Financial Mastery Course. 💰

Their heart for the community shone through as they donated 100% of the proceeds back to Hope Centre.

As a National Day special, we partnered with Edufarm Learning Centre and Ki Xiang Ang Ku Kueh, Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh, to conduct a SG60 ang ku kueh making workshop for our interested senior beneficiaries 🎊

Before our workshop started, Mr Kelvin Toh, the second-generation owner and baker of Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh located at 235 Victoria Street, shared about the history of ang ku kueh and its relation to a few Chinese traditions such as the Baby's First Month celebration (满月). One of our beneficiaries was even gifted an ang ku kueh plushie for answering a question correctly🧸!

During the workshop, our seniors were guided in making 8 ang ku kueh each which they were able to bring home to enjoy 😋
They learnt how to make a white ang ku kueh with a merlion shape on it, and the traditional ang ku kueh. It was a delight to witness most of our beneficiaries feeling proud of their handmade ang ku kueh and to hear that they tasted good!

Mr Kelvin Toh also gifted to our centre an ang ku kueh plushie, which we are deeply grateful for!
We are thankful for such a great partnership with Edufarm Learning Centre and Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh!

Our senior beneficiaries had an early National Day celebration in Hope Centre!

We had an exercise session using a workout video by GetActive! Singapore based on this year's National Day song - "Here We Are" 🎶
There was also our seniors' favourite BINGO and a time of sharing on some fun facts and quizzes about Singapore. Our seniors were very enthusiastic in answering the quizzes even though they knew that there were no prizes for the quiz segment!

There was also a session conducted by Mr Jeffrey Kong of Artisan Bricks, where our seniors made a Samsui woman using LEGO bricks! It was a great time for them learning how to properly build the Samsui woman LEGO as it is known to our seniors and it is an iconic historical figure of our nation 🇸🇬
Not only do they get to bring home their own Samsui woman lego, they were also gifted with a pack of Merlion shaped biscuits and a handheld Singapore flag!

We ended the celebration with a sing-a-long to some old National Day songs including "Home" by Kit Chan, and we screened a performance by our staff, Diane, playing the guitar and singing the cantonese version of "Home"!

We are so grateful to be able to celebrate with our beneficiaries and volunteers, and are thankful for Mr Jeffrey for partnering with us once again to bless our seniors 💛

Happy National Day Singapore 🇸🇬 !!!

Hope Centre is thankful and delighted to have been able to partner with Hope Singapore to bless the community through Hope Community Weekend!
We sent out volunteers to clean houses and celebrate National day through activities and conversations all over Singapore ✨🏠

Many residents were touched by these efforts over the weekend 🫶🏻

We are delighted and honoured that Mr. Seah Kian Peng, Speaker of Parliament, will be joining the Great Singapore Workout co-organized by Hope Singapore and Braddell Heights Zone A RC during our Hope Community Weekend! 🎊

Mr. Seah is our distinguished guest on 3rd August 2025, Sunday, 8:30am at block 236 Serangoon Ave 3 Open Court.
