About us
The LIFESPAN Research Centre is a shared developmental psychology facility of Nanyang Technological University. The current research teams at LIFESPAN are BLIP Lab, LEAP Lab, SAN Lab and Baby-LINC.
The LIFESPAN Research Centre brings together experts in infant development, language and cognitive development, neuroscience, and aging. Our goal is to develop a world leading facility for outstanding researchers to research development across the lifespan – from infancy to elderhood, for a better quality of life. LIFESPAN’s State-of-the-art facilities are located in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in the Novena Medical Quarter, close to Singapore’s heartlands. The facility is optimized to be child friendly and patient accessible.
As a shared resource, the LIFESPAN Research Centre is available to NTU researchers conducting studies with hard to reach groups of participants – with a specific focus on the very young, the very old and clinical populations across all age groups. NTU has a number of research facilities on the main campus that are suitable for research with healthy adults – The LIFESPAN Research Centre complements these facilities by adding much needed access for hard-to-reach groups.
