Nazri Sutari conducts very successful youth outreach programs all around Singapore! Preparing the future generation of Team Singapore Kickboxing.

Our board member Joan Hung was Singapore's representative at the Clean Sports in Action International Forum.

Joan is a para judoka by training, and from her athlete's lens, she saw the athlete-centric approach of the forum as an enlightening experience which changed how athletes were viewed. Instead if being merely passjve recipients of anti-doping efforts, athletes should be treated as active stakeholders to understand and dhare the responsibility of anti-doping processes and efforts.

The most important takeawat from the forum was the importancd of enhanced and continuous communication between anti-doping organisations and athletes, which forms the cornerstone of anti-doping efforts.

Our board member Mr Nicholas Fang attended the Clean Sport in Action International Forum. One forum panel placed a spotlight on the relationship between Anti-Doping Organisations (ADOs) and the media, noting that agencies get coverage whenever there is major positive results of tested athletes, forming the impression of ADOs as harsh regulators.

Having extensive and deep experience in communication and media, Nicholas found it apt that the forum encouraged ADOs to be more proactive in the media landscape to share anti-doping work and build trust.

One important takeaway is that while anti-doping operations will continue to be under scrutiny, they do not have to lead to scepticism especially when communications are handed strategically

The leaders of Kickboxing Federation of Singapore held a "farewell" dinner for Alexavier Koh as he embarks on the next phase of his life! To serve Singapore in the SAF! Hormat! 🫡Majulah Singapura! 🇸🇬

Alexavier Koh may be gone for the time being but not forgotten and definitely will still catch up with him!

We look forward to the leader he will become!
