The veterinary nurses at our community clinic care for our animals with skill and heart, and we’re so grateful for all that they do 🩺🐾

Behind every animal who gets a second chance is a vet nurse who showed up with patience and endless compassion. From comforting frightened animals to assisting in life-saving procedures, they give their all into helping those who can’t speak for themselves.

To our incredible veterinary nurses, thank you for everything you do. Our animals are safer, healthier, and more loved because of you 🤍

Big ears, waggy tails, and a lot of love to give 🐶

Some of our dogs will greet you like an old friend, others may take a little more time to warm up, but they’re all worth it. Every one of them is looking for a place to call home, and this Saturday, you could be the one they’ve been waiting for.

Happy Children’s Day 🎉 We’ve got an extra special day lined up for you, and it’s one you won’t want to miss.

First, join us for Storytime @ the SPCA, a parent and child reading session with Rachel Er, author of “Kopi the Community Cat and Other Little Red Dot Adventures.” It’s a lovely way for children to learn about community animals and animal welfare, all while enjoying a good story. Expect an animal quiz, a book reading with Rachel herself, and a photo and book table📚

And it all happens on the same day as our monthly adoption drive! 🐶🐱 So before or after storytime, bring your little ones along to meet our wonderful animals who are waiting for their forever homes. Fur real or fur fake? Some of the things people believe about cats might just surprise you!

A group of passionate students from Republic Polytechnic put their cat knowledge to the test, debunking some common feline misconceptions along the way. And whoever came in last? Well, let’s just say they had to unleash their inner cat with a very memorable phone call 😹

This was developed in collaboration with Republic Polytechnic’s Diploma in Mass Communication as part of their Final Year Project 🎓

Kitten Connection: a special adoption drive 🐱

Nine kittens came into our care from a hoarding situation, and now they’re ready to find loving homes of their own. But this isn’t your usual adoption drive, it’s a pre-screened event, designed to make sure each kitten is matched with a well-prepared, loving home.

Here’s how to apply:
1️⃣ Fill in our adoption application form (link in bio, or at spca.org.sg/adoption-application-form)
2️⃣ Under “Is there a specific animal you’re interested in?”, enter “Kitten Connection Event” so we know you’re applying for this drive
3️⃣ Complete the form and our team will be in touch

Applications close once we choose 15 confirmed applicants.

A few things to know before you apply:
•⁠ The kittens are unsterilised and need further booster vaccinations
•⁠ ⁠They’ll be fostered in view of adoption until sterilised, so adopters must commit to bringing them for their vaccinations and sterilisation, after which the adoption is finalised
•⁠ ⁠The kittens have not been tested for FIV/FeLV, so adopters must take note of this, especially if they have an existing cat at home
•⁠ ⁠On the day, confirmed applicants can come down and interact with the kittens (first come, first served basis), and if the interaction goes well, they can then be brought home

Approved adopters will need to meet our home requirements, including full meshing, a prepared kitten room, all household members present and in agreement, and a home where kittens won’t be left alone for more than 3–4 hours.

Didn’t manage to license your cat by 31 August 2026? Fret not!

That date wasn’t a deadline for licensing itself, just the end of a two-year transition period. You can still apply for a cat licence, just that things are a little different this time. Swipe through to see what’s changed!

Our adoption drive is tomorrow, and here who’s waiting for their homes!

Tintin, Tita, Monte, Peanut, and the rest of our wonderful dogs are all looking for their forever families, each with their own personality and their own kind of love to give. No appointment needed, just bring your heart 💙

Do note that some of our dogs may have specific adoption requirements or arrangements, so not all may be available to meet on the day. If there’s a particular dog you’d love to meet, we’d recommend checking our adoption gallery first and having a chat with our staff on arrival. They’ll be happy to guide you.
