🔋 Streamlined EV charging regulatory processes while ensuring public safety for EV charging
🤖 Continued safe trials and deployment of autonomous vehicles on roads and public paths

Service fees and commissions have always been a key concern for drivers. And we understand why. Every dollar deducted affects what you bring home.

That’s why we’ve put together this simple guide to help drivers understand how the service fee is calculated. Take a look at the formulae and use them to check your own trip statements. 👇

If a service fee appears higher than usual, it’s worth taking a closer look.

Check your trip details. Understand what you’re being charged. And know how your earnings are calculated.

NPHVA has consistently raised concerns where deductions appear higher than usual and will continue to bring such issues to Grab for clarification where necessary.

At the same time, NPHVA continues to push for measures that help put more money back into drivers’ pockets and address the rising costs of driving, including initiatives such as fuel support and Driver Fee.

Met up with leaders from Taxi Kaki Singapore and NPHVA together with Sun Xueling, as part of our regular engagements.

We discussed a range of topics, from fares and operators' commissions to autonomous vehicles. On AVs, I shared that there is no imminent displacement of taxi and private-hire driving jobs, and that our drivers will continue to have an important role in our transport system.

The industry changed when private-hire cars arrived, and our taxi drivers adapted. As the industry continues to evolve, Ministry of Transport, Singapore and Land Transport Authority – We Keep Your World Moving will keep listening to our drivers and work closely with Skills & Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), NTUC and our driver associations to support them through the changes.
