After a year of dedicated work, Q***r Therapists of Singapore (QTSG), in collaboration with Oogachaga, is proud to introduce this Code as a standard of q***r-affirming mental healthcare in Singapore.

But this is more than a document — it’s a call to action.

We are calling upon all clinicians and practitioners working with q***r and trans individuals to join us in adopting the Code, to set the standard for inclusive, safe, and affirming care.

[Staff announcement] After more than 6 years, Alexander Teh will be leaving Oogachaga Community Services. His last working day was 30 September 2026.

Alex has been a valued professional full-time member of our team for the past 6.5 years. In April 2020, he started as Oogchaga's first Youth Worker, developing the q***r youth programme.

Subsequently, as Youth Counsellor and then as Counsellor, he made a lasting impact through his dedication, compassion, and professionalism in supporting the organisation, our volunteers and clients. His contributions to us and to those that he has worked with have been truly appreciated.

We are grateful for the hard work and commitment he has shown throughout his time with Oogachaga, and we know his presence will be deeply missed by colleagues, volunteers and clients.

We wish him all the very best in his ongoing journey!

Professional Counselling Fees Update: 1 October 2026

🩷At Oogachaga Community Services Limited, we are committed to making our quality professional counselling service as accessible as possible.

🤎 We are revising our fee structure so that we can continue delivering safe, professional, and sustainable counselling services while maintaining assistance for clients who need additional financial support.

❤️ Fees contribute to counsellor training and supervision, service delivery, premises, utilities, administration, and fee support for clients experiencing financial difficulty.

From 1 October 2026:
🧡 $150 per session for individuals (1 client), with professional counsellor (60 mins)

💚 $80 per session for individuals (1 client), with counsellor-in-training (60 mins)

💙 $220 per session for couples & families (2 or more clients), with professional counsellor (90 mins)

💜 Clients who are unable to manage the full rate are welcome to contact us directly to explore fee subsidy. We will approach every enquiry with care and confidentiality.

🩵 Our WhatsApp and Email counselling services (by trained volunteers) remain free of charge, anonymous and confidential, with limited service hours.
