🤝 When Organisations Come Together, Opportunities Grow.

Our CareAbilities (CAP) interns recently embarked on their Work Exposure Week with Methodist Welfare Services Eunos Senior Care Centre. Through this meaningful partnership, our interns gained hands-on exposure to community care, learning about the roles involved in supporting seniors, exploring walking frames and interacting with seniors and the MWS team.

Beyond the workplace skills they developed, the experience gave our interns an opportunity to build confidence, participate meaningfully and see how their strengths can contribute to the community. We welcome community care organisations to partner with us in providing internship and employment opportunities for persons with special needs.

Celebrating our Singapore spirit together at Kampong Tiong Bahru West!

It was heartwarming to join our residents at the PCS Cedar Tree Jalan Bukit Merah National Day celebration as we came together to celebrate Singapore’s birthday month and the strong community spirit that brings us closer as one.

From the meaningful observance ceremony and spirited civilian march-past to the vibrant cultural performances, it was a wonderful reflection of Singapore’s rich multicultural heritage and our shared spirit as one community. ❤️

Thank you to Melvin Yong 杨益财 for joining us in celebrating with the community and to the volunteers and everyone who contributed to making the celebration a memorable one. Majulah Singapura!

Everyone deserves the chance to grow, contribute and know that their work matters. 💚

After eight years as a housekeeper, Emily Tan took a step towards something new. Through PCS’ training programmes, she developed new skills and began an internship at a PCS Cedar Tree senior care centre. Today, Emily serves meals, leads activities and shares laughter with seniors. Emily didn’t need someone to change who she was. She needed someone to see what she could become.

Through the CareAbilities Programme, PCS supports persons with intellectual disabilities and autism in developing practical vocational and life skills, creating pathways towards meaningful employment in the community care sector.

Support PCS in creating more opportunities where potential can become possibility. https://give.asia/campaign/many-rhythms-one-voice-one-singapore #/story
