Our seniors came together for a day packed with meaningful activities and memories.

💧🌱 Learning, Exploring and Making a Difference with Xylem!

Our seniors from PCS Cedar Tree AAC Upper Serangoon 364 had a wonderful time visiting Xylem for an enriching educational experience! 💚
Through an educational tour, interactive quizzes and hands-on activities, our seniors discovered more about water, climate change and their impact on the environment. Their curiosity and enthusiasm made the visit even more meaningful as they explored new topics and gained fresh insights.

A heartfelt thank you to Xylem SEA for generously sponsoring the transportation and meals, as well as preparing goodie bags for our seniors. Your thoughtful support made this experience even more memorable! 💝

✨ A day of play, discovery and new experiences! ✨
This Children’s Day, 35 children from Providence Care Centre (PCC) had the opportunity to experience something new - an immersive play experience at Dopamine Land! 🎮🎨

For many of the children, it was their first visit, making the day all the more special. From fun-filled games to exploring the immersive spaces, there were plenty of smiles, laughter and moments of discovery along the way. 💛
What made the experience even more meaningful was the people behind it. Keppel Ltd. (Fund Management & Investment) not only generously organised the outing but also rallied staff to plan the entire experience, creating a day thoughtfully designed for the children to enjoy.

PCC serves children and families from the lower-income community where experiences like these may not always be within reach. Thanks to Keppel’s generosity, time and commitment, these 35 children were given the chance to simply be children. To play, explore, have fun and create new memories. 🌈

🚨 SCAM ALERT: Seniors, Stay Safe from Fake Active Ageing Centre Advertisements! 🚨

Dear PCS Cedar Tree AAC seniors, stay alert! ❤️
Scammers can be friendly, helpful, and convincing. Even if someone shares photos of activities or claims to be an AAC staff member, always take a moment to verify.

Here are 5 ways to protect yourself:
✅ Verify before you trust.
If you see an advertisement for senior activities, check directly with the AAC using its official contact details.
📵 Never download unknown apps.
Do not install apps or APK files sent through WhatsApp, SMS, or social media, even if someone claims they are needed to register for activities.
🔐 Never share your OTP.
Do not reveal one-time passwords, banking details, or Singpass information to anyone.
⏸️ Stop and check.
If someone pressures you to act quickly, download an app, or follow unfamiliar instructions, pause and speak to a trusted family member or PCS Cedar Tree AAC staff member first.
📞 Act quickly if something feels wrong.
If you have downloaded a suspicious app or suspect your bank account has been compromised, contact your bank immediately to secure your account. Call the 24-hour ScamShield Helpline at 1799 for scam-related advice.

💚 Remember, it is always okay to ask for help.
You do not need to handle suspicious messages or calls alone. Please share this reminder with your family and friends so we can keep one another safe. At PCS Cedar Tree AAC, your safety and well-being matter to us.

♻️ Small actions, meaningful impact! 💚

Our seniors had a great time learning about the Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS) and discovering how simple everyday actions can contribute to a more sustainable future. 🥤🌏

From enjoying a complimentary canned drink to experiencing how to return their empty cans at a nearby BCRS machine, the session was a fun and engaging way to learn about recycling and environmental responsibility. At PCS, we believe that learning never stops and every small step counts towards building a greener, more sustainable community.
