International Toastmasters Club for developing your communication, public speaking and leadership skills

24/09/2026

Our September Toastmasters meeting was certainly a special one!

We were delighted to welcome several seasoned Toastmasters from other clubs, who joined us for the evening and generously took on various meeting roles.

A big shoutout to Adeline Ng and Valerie Chow from Toastmasters Club of Singapore, Rathiya from Jurong Town Toastmasters Club, and Terry Lee from 1+ Toastmasters Club!

Adeline and Valerie also treated us to a valuable coaching session, sharing practical tips on how to become more confident and effective public speakers, as well as how to overcome the fear of speaking in front of an audience.

It was an insightful session that both our members and guests could learn from and enjoy!

At Bukit Timah CC Toastmasters Club, we will continue to invite experienced speakers and Toastmasters to share their knowledge and add even more value to our monthly meetings.

Interested in improving your public speaking skills and meeting fellow Toastmasters? Come join us at one of our upcoming session!
Looking forward to see you all at our next meeting!

Happy New Year, everyone! 🎉

We were delighted to welcome so many guests to our very first Toastmasters’ meeting of the year. It was truly encouraging to see so many individuals taking their first step toward improving their public speaking skills and learning more about our club.

Many of our guests also bravely stepped onto the stage to challenge themselves with a 1–2 minute impromptu speech during our Table Topics segment. Their enthusiasm and courage made the session lively and engaging!

We hope this momentum continues throughout the year, and we assure you that every meeting will be rewarding, enjoyable, filled with laughter and valuable takeaways!

Congratulations to our guest, Norizah—an existing Toastmasters member—for being voted Best Table Topics Speaker of the night! 🏆

Norizah also served as our Language Evaluator, thoughtfully reviewing the speakers’ language and grammar usage while highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.

Thank you Norizah, for taking the time to visit our club and contribute so meaningfully to our meeting. Being voted Best Table Topics Speaker truly reflects your proficiency in impromptu speaking!

✨ Time really flies when we’re having fun — we’ve already reached our final Toastmasters meeting of 2025!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported and joined our meetings throughout the year. You’ve made 2025 truly memorable!

For our year-end session, we enjoyed a lively full Table Topics segment, where both guests and members took the stage for their 1–2 minute impromptu speeches.

This Table Topics segment was inspired by Secret Santa 🎁 — each speaker received a surprise “gift” and had to deliver a speech explaining why it is suitable for the giftee. Let’s just say… these gifts were anything but ordinary, and the room was filled with laughter as everyone tried to guess what they were!

🏆 Big congratulations to Cleon, who clinched the Best Table Topics Speaker Award for the second time in a row!

Kickstarting 2026 with our next meeting! Here are the details!
