As you'll see, speaking in perfect unison isn't as easy as it looks—and becoming a confident public speaker takes practice too. The good news is that everyone starts somewhere. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced speaker looking to sharpen your skills, you're welcome to join our Toastmasters meetings.

At Bukit Timah CC Toastmasters Club, you'll have the opportunity to build your confidence speaking on stage in front of an audience and at the same time have fun while connecting with like-minded individuals.

We are thrilled to announce that Bukit Timah CC Toastmasters Club will be celebrating our 400th Chapter Meeting on Tuesday, 7th April 2026—and you’re warmly invited to be part of this special occasion!

Chartered on Sep. 27, 2005, our club has been a vibrant platform for individuals to grow into confident speakers and effective leaders in a supportive and structured environment. And in what feels like the blink of an eye, we’ve reached an incredible milestone—our 400th meeting!

This achievement is a testament to the passion, dedication, and camaraderie of our members past and present. Whether you are a current member, an alumnus, or completely new to Toastmasters, we welcome you to celebrate this meaningful moment with us.

A huge thank you to our wonderful guests and fellow Toastmasters members for making our 3rd February meeting another resounding success! 🎉

We were delighted to welcome so many new and returning guests. It’s truly encouraging to see such strong interest from individuals who are eager to sharpen their public speaking skills and learn more about our club.

Guests of all ages and backgrounds are always welcome at Bukit Timah Toastmasters' Club!

Fun fact: One of our guests, Hong Ming — who just ORD-ed — joined us for the first time and went on to win Best Table Topic Speaker with his humorous recount of an experience during National Service.

Congratulations, Hong Ming! 🏆

We’re also excited to welcome Mindy, who has officially taken the next step and joined Bukit Timah Toastmasters’ Club as a member. We look forward to hearing your prepared speeches in the coming sessions!

Happy New Year, everyone! 🎉

We were delighted to welcome so many guests to our very first Toastmasters’ meeting of the year. It was truly encouraging to see so many individuals taking their first step toward improving their public speaking skills and learning more about our club.

Many of our guests also bravely stepped onto the stage to challenge themselves with a 1–2 minute impromptu speech during our Table Topics segment. Their enthusiasm and courage made the session lively and engaging!

We hope this momentum continues throughout the year, and we assure you that every meeting will be rewarding, enjoyable, filled with laughter and valuable takeaways!

Congratulations to our guest, Norizah—an existing Toastmasters member—for being voted Best Table Topics Speaker of the night! 🏆

Norizah also served as our Language Evaluator, thoughtfully reviewing the speakers’ language and grammar usage while highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.

Thank you Norizah, for taking the time to visit our club and contribute so meaningfully to our meeting. Being voted Best Table Topics Speaker truly reflects your proficiency in impromptu speaking!

✨ Time really flies when we’re having fun — we’ve already reached our final Toastmasters meeting of 2025!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported and joined our meetings throughout the year. You’ve made 2025 truly memorable!

For our year-end session, we enjoyed a lively full Table Topics segment, where both guests and members took the stage for their 1–2 minute impromptu speeches.

This Table Topics segment was inspired by Secret Santa 🎁 — each speaker received a surprise “gift” and had to deliver a speech explaining why it is suitable for the giftee. Let’s just say… these gifts were anything but ordinary, and the room was filled with laughter as everyone tried to guess what they were!

🏆 Big congratulations to Cleon, who clinched the Best Table Topics Speaker Award for the second time in a row!
