SCEU was glad to be part of NTUC Secretary General Ng Chee Meng’s visit to ST Logistics today, where we joined management, union leaders and employees for a meaningful engagement session.
The visit provided an insight on how ST Logistics has been progressively integrating AI and digital solutions to enhance productivity and strengthen capabilities.
Through its Company Training Committee (CTC) initiatives, ST Logistics has been working closely with SCEU to support workers in developing new skills, adapting to evolving job roles, and to stay agile amidst ongoing digital transformation.
It was also encouraging to see how technology is being harnessed to augment jobs and create higher-value opportunities, thus ensuring that AI enhances work and supports continued job growth and career development.
At SCEU, we remain committed to strengthening our partnership with employers through initiatives like CTC, ensuring that workforce transformation efforts remain worker-centric that translates to positive outcomes centered on the 3W's: Wages, Welfare and Work Prospects.
We would like to thank NTUC Secretary General for taking time to engage with our members, and ST Logistics for hosting this visit and for their continued partnership.
