💬 Learning to Listen, Speak, and Connect 🌟

On 25 Sept, we gathered at StarHub for Intergen EdVentures: Communicating Effectively at Work. Our scholars discovered how communication is not just a workplace skill, but a life skill that shapes opportunities and relationships.

With honest sharing from StarHub leaders Ravikumar Viswanathan and Jaclyn Yeo, plus interactive activities—from eye-to-eye portrait drawing 👀 to wordless role-play—scholars explored active listening, confidence, and the values behind authentic communication.

It was a day of laughter, reflection, and new perspectives—reminding us that every conversation is a chance to connect more deeply. ❤️

⚒️ Building Connections, Finding Strengths 💪

Throwback to last Saturday when we hosted our MILK Community Learning Session, where our scholars came together to connect, share, and learn alongside mentors and peers. ❤️

From lighthearted energisers to the reflective “River of Life” activity—where each scholar mapped out their unique educational and career journey—the session encouraged them to uncover more about themselves, discovering their core strengths and values. 💎

Guided by mentors, our scholars then put these insights into practice, drafting their own resumes on paper from scratch and learning how to pitch themselves with utmost confidence. ✨

It was a day filled with self-discovery, mentorship, and the power of community—reminding us that every journey is worth celebrating. 🌟

✨ A New Journey Begins! ✨

We are thrilled to welcome our new MILK ITE Scholars on board! ❤️

On 22 August 2025, we gathered at ITE College West to celebrate bright, determined students with big futures ahead. The day began with a moving performance on belonging and transformation, before our friends from PlayMoolah shared practical lessons on financial and emotional resilience. 💵

Our volunteer mentors from diverse professions also inspired students with meaningful life advice, reminding us that with the right support, every student can dream bigger and reach higher. 🌟

And a special shout-out to our beloved former staff, Lillie, who returned as a volunteer to help welcome our scholars — we’re grateful for her presence and support! 🌟

Two generations, one heartwarming Intergen Edventure! ❤️✨

A few weeks ago, we had an amazing session at Pek Kio Community Center, where our students enjoyed a unique poster painting experience taught by thirtytwocm! This art form sparked creativity and fostered communication.

We are excited to spotlight two incredible scholars who joined us for this event.

They explored poster design while learning about community engagement initiatives and program design. 🛠️✨

It was an unforgettable day filled with laughter, stories, and meaningful connections.

Mentorship is not a one-way street—it’s a journey where both mentor and mentee learn, grow, and inspire each other. A few weeks ago, we kicked off an incredible session with Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee, and it was a testament to the power of shared growth. 🎉 The beautiful friday afternoon was packed with meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives, and connections that foster mutual learning.
