🌟 Unlocking Peak Performance at Trust Bank! 🌟

On 26 May 2026, BFSU partnered with Trust Bank to bring employees an engaging Lunch Time Talk by Ms Iriana Halim (Lin Youyi) on "Unlock Peak Performance – Discover Your Superpower and Silence Saboteurs."

Through an interactive and insightful session, participants explored how to identify their strengths, overcome self-limiting behaviours, and build greater resilience in both their professional and personal lives.

Beyond the talk, BFSU had the opportunity to engage employees through informal conversations, gaining valuable insights into workplace concerns around job security, career resilience, and continuous learning amidst the ongoing transformation of the banking and financial services sector.

A big thank you to Trust Bank for supporting this initiative and to everyone who participated and shared their perspectives. BFSU remains committed to supporting members through workplace engagement, career development, and skills upgrading opportunities.

Congratulations to Brother Devaraj Kandasamy and The Bank of East Asia Limited on their recognition at the NTUC May Day Awards 2026!

Brother Devaraj Kandasamy, General Treasurer of the Banking and Financial Services Union (BFSU), was conferred the Comrade of Labour Award in recognition of his more than 30 years of dedicated service and steadfast leadership in the Labour Movement, championing fair wages, job protection, the Progressive Wage Model, and upskilling initiatives for workers.

The Bank of East Asia Limited was also awarded the Plaque of Commendation for its strong partnership with the Labour Movement. Through close collaboration with BFSU and the Singapore Bank Employees’ Union (SBEU) via the Company Training Committee, the Bank has driven workflow improvements, HR digitalisation, and employee upskilling—reflecting a shared commitment to fair employment practices, staff welfare, and the “workers for workers” ethos.
