2026 SEVENTH MONTH FESTIVAL RITUALS FOR PRAYERS TO ANCESTORS

举行法会(亡魂过桥)通知

致：奉主人

依俗例 农历六月初六日为亡魂过桥日. 本堂依师尊指示将于农历丙年六月初五 (18/07/2026) 星期六晚上11时为逝世亡灵 (对年内) 即 (乙巳六月初三起至丙午六月初二日往生者) 举行过桥仪式.

各奉主人请于是晚前来本堂万德堂祭拜先灵 (本堂届期将开放至凌晨十二时). 奉主人即日起可前来本堂文书处登记, 祭品 (包括衣包) 全由本堂负责承办，费用每份60元, 截止日期为15/07/2026.

Notice of Ritual Ceremony
(Crossing the Bridge for Departed Souls)

To: Descendents of the Ancestral Tablets

According to traditional custom, the 6th day of the 6th lunar month of the Bingwu year is observed as the day for the “Crossing the Bridge for Departed Souls” ritual. Under the instruction of Daoji Buddha, the temple will conduct the Crossing the Bridge ceremony on the 5th day of the 6th lunar month of the Bingwu year (18 July 2026, Saturday) at 11:00pm for departed souls who have passed away within one year, namely those who passed on between the 3rd day of the 6th lunar month of the Yisi year and the 2nd day of the 6th lunar month of the Bingwu year.
All Descendents of the Ancestral Tablets and family representatives are invited to come to Wan De Tang that evening to pay respects to their departed loved ones. (The temple will remain open until 12:00 midnight on that day).

Registration is now open at the temple office. All offerings, including paper clothing bundles, will be fully prepared by the temple. The fee is SGD 60 per set. Registration closes on 15 July 2026.

Our temple held the Na Fu Charity Elderly Appreciation Event on 3 March 2026. In addition to distributing red packets and gift packs to the elderly, we also organized a Bingo game and a lucky draw. The seniors had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Our temple would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Yuhua CCC for their strong support and assistance, which made this elderly appreciation event a success.

由于正月十五日元宵节 (03/03/26)当晚本堂将举办《纳福慈善敬老晚宴》，萬德堂祭拜時間將開放至下午一時以進行場地布置工作。如有不便之处，在此深表歉意，谢谢合作！

Our temple will be holding a Charity Appreciation Dinner for the elderly during the Yuan Xiao, 15th day of the 1st lunar month (3 March 2026).

Hence, worship hours on that day at the ancestral hall, Wan De Tang, will be open only until 1:00 PM to facilitate venue setup. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation.
