Turns out, we aren’t that different after all. We just have different dictionaries!

What a meaningful Saturday morning! Together with our volunteers, youths, and even young children, we served over 130 low-income families and seniors in the community. While the food rations help ease daily burdens, the smiles shared throughout the morning reminded us that the impact goes far beyond the items in each bag. ✨

We especially loved seeing parents volunteer alongside their children. Introducing volunteerism from a young age nurtures empathy, compassion, and a heart for the community. 🌱

This session was also made extra special through a sustainability initiative with .foods , where residents could choose a snack of their preference. By giving perfectly edible food a second chance, we’re reducing food waste while creating a more meaningful experience for residents. ♻️💛

Thank you to everyone who spent their Saturday serving with us. Every conversation, smile, and helping hand helped make our community a little stronger!

Malnutrition is now a growing problem among seniors in Singapore. And as part of FoodforHope’s mission in serving love and meals, we now take an extra step in ensuring that our seniors are equipped with good dietary habits.

With the help of volunteers, we now roll out tailored recipes and nutrition outreach activities to educate our seniors in adopting healthy eating habits. We hope to spread the message that well-balanced meals can be made simply and affordably. For malnutrition can be prevented by eating well and enough!

There was plenty of excitement during last week’s Lunch Visitation at Toa Payoh. 💛

A donor generously sponsored the meals for this session, and our seniors were deeply appreciative of the thoughtful gesture. Seeing their smiles and hearing their words of thanks was a heartwarming reminder of how much simple acts of kindness can mean.

Moments like these show the power of a caring community — where love is shared, generosity is passed on, and our seniors are reminded that they are not forgotten. 🥰

Either way, these weekly visits have become something both volunteers and seniors look forward to every week 💕

Come experience it sometime, we welcome both Millennials & Gen Zs! 😆

Scams are everywhere nowadays, and with AI getting better, it’s becoming harder to tell what’s real or fake. Seniors are often the most vulnerable, which is why support and education like this matter so much ❤️

At our recent Makan Circle session, our seniors joined Money Lock Tight Tight by — an activity-based scam awareness workshop that made learning simple, interactive and easy to digest 🙌

Through games, discussions and practical examples, seniors learnt how to recognise common scam tactics, verify suspicious contacts, use money lock features & bank kill switches, and apply the “Stop, Block, Tell” approach 🔒📱

Big thank you to for preparing such an engaging session for our seniors, and to for kindly sponsoring this workshop 💛

This month’s Makan & Mingle session was filled with creativity, laughter, and new learning moments 🐑🐄✨

As Hari Raya Haji approaches, we prepared a special craft activity featuring sheep and cows, not only to celebrate the occasion together, but also to share with our seniors a little more about the meaning behind Hari Raya Haji and how it differs from Hari Raya Puasa.

A big thank you to the volunteers from for patiently preparing and guiding the seniors through the craft step by step. Through simple hands on activities like these, seniors get to keep their hands active, practise coordination, and enjoy the joy of creating something on their own.

We were also pleasantly surprised by how creative our seniors were. Every craft had its own unique personality and charm 💛

Wishing everyone a joyful Selamat Hari Raya Haji! 🌙

Weekly check-ins may seem simple, but to many seniors living alone, a small “How are you today?” can mean the world. 💛

With familiarity comes trust, and over time, these little conversations become bonds that remind them someone truly cares. For some seniors, it might even be the first time someone has asked them that all week.

Thankful for our volunteers who show up consistently every week — starting conversations, spreading warmth, and bringing love into our community one visit at a time. 🥹

Our seniors from Toa Payoh had an unforgettable time at Water FunFiesta 2026 💦☀️

Together with volunteers from the Singapore Army, the seniors enjoyed a variety of thoughtfully prepared activity booths including ring toss, co****le, origami, and other exciting water games!

For many of the seniors, this was a unique opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities by the waterfront, spend time bonding with volunteers, and even experience relaxing paddleboat rides 🚣‍♂️ Seeing their smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the day truly made the event extra meaningful.

A big thank you to .passionwave Marina Bay for generously sponsoring the venue with facilities and making this event possible. We are truly grateful for your support and hospitality.

To all the volunteers who came together to plan and run the activities with so much heart, thank you for creating such a joyful and meaningful experience for our seniors 💛

4️⃣0️⃣ years of heart and care, and what a beautiful way to celebrate it ❤️

We are deeply grateful to Singapore for sponsoring this special event, and for choosing to spend such a meaningful milestone with our seniors.

From shared meals to heartfelt conversations, every moment reflected your belief in ‘Growing A Better World Together’. It was more than a celebration. It was a connection, warmth, and genuine care felt by everyone in the room.

We saw it in the laughter, in the stories shared, and most of all, in the smiles of our seniors. Thank you for not just giving, but for being present, for sitting with them, listening to them, and creating memories they will carry with them.

And from all of us, especially our seniors who celebrated this day with you,
Happy 40th Anniversary, Rabobank Singapore 🤍
