- Forgiving Founded on 17th January 2012, Helping Joy Limited (Singapore-registered Charity Organization) is officially an Institution of a Public Character (“IPC”) under the Charit
ies Act 1994 (“the Act”) with effect from 5 November 2024. We help the vulnerable in our society, such as low income physically and mentally challenged individuals / elderly persons and low-income families, regardless of race, religion or language, by bringing a little joy into their lives. Our kind-hearted, fun-loving volunteers do this by:
- Decluttering, painting and cleaning the homes for the physically and mentally challenged low income residents of our community.
- Conducting monthly home maintenance and cleaning for the physically and mentally challenged residents of our community.
- Befriending elderly residents who have no immediate family through weekly visits and outings.
- Providing free meals for low income individual/families.
- Providing free basic necessities and food rations to physically and mentally challenged individuals and low income families every month (Each bag of basic necessities and food rations is packed differently based on the recipient’s needs).
- Provides free Final Journey Arrangement for the elderly without any immediate family or low income families when they passed on. It’s the thought that counts and not the amount, so any amount of contribution goes a long way towards our goal of bringing joy into someone’s life. Helping Joy is also actively assisting various companies and organizations to plan, organize and execute their Corporate Social Responsibility Programs. Behind every closed door, there’s a story to be told. And we hope to make those stories a lot brighter! Helping Joy Project Names are:
- Act Of Kindness (a platform to bridge the gaps between charitable organizations, donors & beneficiaries. We work very closely with various old aged, orphanage homes, social workers on a monthly basis. Donors are able to donate the listed monthly wish list items to them based on their needs.)
- Kindness Academy (A fun and inspiring place to experience social integration and personal purpose.)
- Art Of Giving Platform (A powerful app [3R’s - Recycle, Re-purpose, Re-use] which allow donors to give based on what the beneficiaries need and connecting all charitable organizations, companies and individual together to contribute to the underprivileged communities)
