But we all can be a blessing to those around us.”
These beautiful words said by our beloved Master, Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani inspire us on this humble journey to help as many as we can, as efficiently as we can and as lovingly as we can. Bridge Builders Singapore is the youth wing of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission. It is a group of youngsters (young at heart), dedicated to be instruments in His divine hands, in the service of a broken, bleeding world. Just as one flower cannot make a garland; all flowers must come together to make one, so have all of us, come together to help build this bridge of love and compassion. As our beloved Dada says:
So bless me, Lord, that I may never forget that I am but a broken instrument in Thy Hands. Thou art the One Worker: and Thy works are ever the works of mercy. All glory be unto Thee! O Lord, grant that I may live and move and have my being in Thee. May I never forget Thou art my Refuge and Resting place. With one hand may I cling to Thy Lotus Feet and, with the other, discharge my duties – and serve the poor and forlorn, in this world of tragedy and tears. O Lord, grant me a heart that may beat with every human heart; may weep with every human tear; may sing with every human song; may delight with every human rapture; may regard the woes of creatures as its own – a heart that may unite me to all creation!
