Thank you so much to everyone who has donated towards our Lebanon emergency distributions so far.

Despite our coordinator .aljabaly facing her own challenges with her own neighbourhood being bombed, she has distributed dignity kits to 220 women and girls staying in temporary shelters in Beirut during the ceasefire. Our bags include knickers, period pads and hot water bottles provided by .lb

With few organisations working on period poverty, many of the women and girls said that we were the first to provide period products and were incredible grateful to receive them. Many were getting particularly heavy periods and experiencing a lot of pain due to the stress and fear they are living through.

This is so incredibly needed. Thank you as always to for working with us on this to raise funds for pads. Please keep donating, just £10 can provide a hygiene kits to someone facing displacement in Lebanon.

The best kinda Sunday - hand delivering 45 packs of reusable pads made by our student volunteers to our amazing partners who we’re getting to work with again - this time in Malaysia!

In the amazing city of Kuala Lumpur, we spent time with GRT’s amazing Lina and Dr Fatima, a leading researcher and spokesperson on period poverty in Malaysia.

Period poverty here affects a wide range of communities, from school and university students, to women in rural areas, orphanages, prisons, and refugee populations including Rohingya, Syrian and Palestinian communities.

But there’s a real opportunity to make a difference here. There is already openness to reusable solutions, and strong local knowledge about where support is most needed.

It was so wonderful to finally meet in person after working together remotely for the last year as well as get insights from the fab who has pioneered the movement to end period poverty in Malaysia 🇲🇾

Excited for what’s next!

A very special way to end my time in Singapore 🇸🇬

The amazing .sing hosted an event bringing together women’s charities in Singapore. Our founder spoke alongside local organisations doing incredible work supporting women across the region - from fair wages for migrant workers to community-led support networks.

It has been a really inspiring trip and we are so excited to see this flourish into an incredible hub in South East Asia - helping us reach new communities and support us in our mission to end global period poverty.

Next stop Malaysia where I’ll be taking the gorgeous Singapore-made pads!

After teaching women in Ourika, Morocco how to make their own reusable pads back in November they have made thousands of them!

Today our wonderful colleague from is back overseeing the distribution of pads to 500 school girls who will be receiving menstrual health education for the first time and receiving a product that will last the next five years.

Many of these girls have reported getting infections from using rags to manage their periods or missing school regularly for fears of leaking through their clothes in lessons.

Manar and Latifa here our new menstrual and reproductive health trainers are absolutely killing it. If you’d like to make a donation to help continue, please find the link in our bio or make a donation here:

Workshop time! Yesterday I ran two workshops - one with new students, and the second, a check in with the Pacha club that has been running weekly at .sing for a year now.

Great to see so many new students come and learn how to make reusable period pads and tackle period poverty in a fun and creative way.

These pads are coming with me to Malaysia tomorrow, where they’ll be hand-delivered to our partner and distributed to those who need them most.

Snippets from a wonderful day talking to students at North London Collegiate School in Singapore on how just a small idea turned into global impact tackling period poverty. It was amazing to see how many students turned up for an optional talk about periods - and at least half of the audience were boys.

It always makes me feel really hopeful to see young men engage meaningfully in a conversation about period poverty. So many of our projects would not be what they are without the male staff pushing them forward.

If we include men and boys in the conversation and give them permission to engage, they might even become part of the solution.

Emergency Distribution South Lebanon 🇱🇧

In partnership with The Dignity Project we conducted an emergency distribution of hygiene kits for 500 women and girls in shelters across Saida, South Lebanon. The packs included our reusable period pads which are also given to pregnant women as postpartum pads.

Beyond the distribution, awareness sessions on menstrual hygiene and personal hygiene in shared living conditions allowed women to openly discuss challenges they face and learn practical ways to protect their health.

Participants shared how valuable these conversations were:

“Sometimes my daughter is shy to discuss these topics with me, so it was important to receive this information through the session.”

“The information provided in the sessions is very important, especially to maintain hygiene inside the shelter.”

Thank you to everyone who has donated. We will continue these emergency distributions, so please keep donating if you are able to 💙
