On 3 October 2026, Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru C2E organised a full-day Standard First Aid Course, equipping participants with essential first aid knowledge and practical skills to respond confidently in an emergency.

Knowing how to administer first aid can make a life-saving difference, especially when our loved ones or those around us need immediate help. ❤️

Tanjong Pagar–Tiong Bahru C2E held our Community Response Roundtable (CRRT) with fellow GRLs and community partners today.

Beyond keeping our emergency response efforts relevant and well-coordinated, these sessions are also a valuable opportunity for us to stay connected, exchange perspectives and learn from one another.

This year, we had an especially timely discussion on AI, fake news and misinformation. A big thank you to Ms Jessie Yak from the National Library Board for sharing practical tips on how we can be more discerning about the information we come across, verify what we read, and make use of reliable sources and fact-checking tools.

In today’s fast-changing digital environment, staying informed also means being responsible about what we share.

Most importantly, it was wonderful to see familiar faces, strengthen our partnerships and welcome new connections.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us and contribute to the discussion. We look forward to continuing this journey together as we keep our community connected, prepared and resilient. 🤝

In an emergency, knowing what to do can make a vital difference — especially when it involves someone we love. ❤️

Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru C2E and Silat RN jointly organised a 4-hour CPR & AED Certification Course at Silat RN.

Participants gained both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in essential life-saving skills, and successfully earned their certification upon completion. ☑️

It was heartening to see participants of all ages, coming together with great enthusiasm to learn these valuable skills. Every person trained in CPR and AED has the potential to make a life-saving difference in an emergency. 👍🏼
