Ready to slow down and discover a new side of Telok Blangah?

⭐ Last weekend, Participate in Design (P!D) and our HAN Heritage Champions were back in Telok Blangah for a guided stamp rally walking trail. We explored landmarks in the neighbourhood to learn more about the history and heritage of each area. As we explored the neighbourhood, we also collected unique stamps designed by Telok Blangah resident, Zakiah Supahat!

By leading guided trails across Telok Blangah, our HAN Heritage Champions continue to uplift the undertold stories of the neighbourhood with their own personal memories.

💗 A big thank you to our HAN Heritage Champions and the Telok Blangah community for joining us for an amazing programme in the sun!

Over the next two years, HAN@Telok Blangah will have more opportunities to get everyone involved. Stay tuned!

🕹️ Throughout October, enjoy Blangah Bounty as a self-guided stamp rally around Telok Blangah! Collect your free booklet at Telok Blangah CC and find eight unique stamps hidden in the neighbourhood. First 50 participants can win a free muffin from a beloved local bakery.

How can we use our imagination to understand the past, present, and future heritage of Telok Blangah?

🌿 Last month, Participate in Design (P!D) and our HAN Heritage Champions were back on site at Telok Blangah leading an exploratory photowalk of Telok Blangah Hill Park and the Gillman Barracks & Forest area. Through an imaginative exercise where participants took on the persona of another Being, we dove deep into the natural heritage around us and the More-than-Human elements that make Telok Blangah so special.
By facilitating imagined conversations, our HAN Heritage Champions continue to lead the efforts to expand what heritage can look like.

🌿 As always, a big thank you to our HAN Heritage Champions and the Telok Blangah community for joining us for another fun and meaningful programme.

Over the next two years, HAN@Telok Blangah will have more opportunities to get everyone involved. Stay tuned!

🌿 In the meantime, check out Blangah Bounty, our month-long stamp rally around Telok Blangah! Collect your free booklet at Telok Blangah CC and find eight unique stamps hidden in the neighbourhood. First 50 participants can win a free chocolate chip muffin from a beloved local bakery.

What can we discover about our food traditions in just one morning of sharing and tasting?

Last weekend, Participate in Design (P!D) and our HAN Heritage Champions were back on site at Telok Blangah to explore the neighbourhood’s food heritage and collective memories.

We chatted with longtime hawkers, swapped stories with old and new friends, and ate our way through the market.

By sharing flavours and memories specific to Telok Blangah, our HAN Heritage Champions are leading efforts to shine a light on our everyday food heritage and traditions, reframing the ordinary as extraordinary.

A big thank you to our HAN Heritage Champions and the Telok Blangah community for joining us for another meaningful programme.

Over the next 2 years, HAN@Telok Blangah will have more opportunities to get everyone involved! Stay tuned!
