We are a community brass ensemble based in Singapore modeled on the German Posaunenchor. We play different music genres, yet with some focus on renaissance and classical pieces, chorales and spirituals for 4 to 8 voices. We play for services and events for the two German congregations but have also played at other events such as the Christmas markets of the Scandinavian congregations or even the o

ccasional Oktoberfest. Members are currently mostly from Germany, but we welcome anyone who is interested in playing with us and can join our Wednesday evening rehearsals regularly. Whether you have played for long or have only taken up your instrument recently, or you want to just restart after a break, we welcome you to take a look and join us for a rehearsal. If you currently do not have an instrument, let us know and we might help until you can get your own.

On December 24, 2024, the brass choir played in the well-attended chapel of the Orchard Road Presbyterian Church for the ecumenical Christmas service. Trumpets, horns, and trombone sounds, together with the organ, contributed to a very festive atmosphere before the gift giving and Christmas dinner at home under the Christmas tree 🎄
