🌱 There’s something special about a room full of people who believe in the power of stories to create change.

👥 At our inaugural Temasek Shophouse Impact Storytellers Meetup at Tembusu Canopy, new friendships were formed, ideas were exchanged, and collaborations were sparked. We also heard from community partners about their efforts to tell impact stories and caught a screening of Another Go by Gavin Lim from the A Dementia Singapore Story project. 🎞️

For Jia Xin, Director at Henning Larsen and Landscape Architect for Temasek Shophouse, it was an opportunity to create spaces where nature and people could meet in everyday ways: through moments of shade, quiet discovery, biodiversity, and gathering. 🌿

Her work shows how landscape architecture can do more than soften a city space. It can shape how people move, pause, and connect, turning the outdoors into part of the experience, not just the view. ✳️

Our landscape vision was shaped around biodiversity, climate resilience, and community use — reimagining the outdoors as spaces where nature and people can thrive together. The space reflects Singapore’s “City in Nature” vision and supports the Master Plan to transform Orchard Road into a greener, more family-friendly lifestyle destination.

If you’re visiting us, here are a few things to look out for:
✨ A native planting palette, prioritised to encourage biodiversity and ecological resilience
🌿 Green social spaces designed for gathering, learning and connection
🌱 Our community farm, encouraging greater awareness of local produce and more mindful, sustainable living
