Objectives:
a) To provide food ration for the needy and unfortunate families whereby the sole breadwinners are unable to bring income to their families due to sickness, physical/mental disability. Each family will be given food ration once every 2 to 3 months until the family is able to bring in income to sustain their livelihood. The Society will assist to help the members of the family to find
jobs so as to sustain their livelihood and be independent. b) To provide food ration for the needy and unfortunate families whereby the sole breadwinners abandoned the wives (or divorced the wives) and children, and do not provide any source of income or assistance to the family. c) To provide food ration for the needy and unfortunate families whereby the sole breadwinners are unable to bring income to their families due to imprisonment. Once the sole breadwinner is out of prison, the Society will also monitor their progress until the sole breadwinner is able to support the family again. d) To provide food ration for the orphans who are staying with elderly grandparents. The Society will provide the assistance only if the grandparents have difficulties providing basic necessities and sustaining their basic livelihood. e) To coordinate with the schools which the children are studying, to see how the children can continue their studies and education needs given the family financial difficulties mentioned in item (a) to (d). f) To provide Food ration for mother/father and son/ daughter, both under medical state/or sickness and unable to work or elderly couple without children who are unable to support themselves, And also couple who are mildly disable with or without children.
