BitCrafts: A Year of Creativity and Milestones🔥
As we close out the year, BitCrafts celebrates a journey filled with achievements and meaningful connections. One highlight was the full-house DIY Mouse Workshop, demonstrating the value of aligning activities with residents’ interests. Another milestone was introducing community-led gaming competitions, where participants received custom key rings and unique trophies, showcasing our dedication to fostering creativity.
This year also marked a significant leap with the acquisition of the Bambu X1C printer, a top-tier resource that represents five years of planning and pitching for scalable tools to elevate our workshops. Sustainability remained central with initiatives like upcycling Pokémon Ga-Olé tokens into key-rings, adding a creative twist to eco-friendly crafting. We also welcomed three new members to our key committee, strengthening our team and expanding our capacity to serve the community.
We ended on a high note with the DIY Lamp Workshop, a full-house event where participants explored professional software like Onshape to design their lamps. Winning designs were brought to life through 3D printing, leaving attendees inspired and proud of their creations.
