Singapore’s most prodigious Chinese chamber music ensemble

Established in 2007, Ding Yi Music Company is Singapore’s most prodigious Chinese chamber music ensemble and a coterie of accomplished Chinese instrumentalists that trademark Singapore Chinese chamber music in the traditional and contemporary field.

成立于2007年的鼎艺团，是新加坡最杰出的华乐室内乐团之一，宗旨在通过演奏华乐传统音乐与跨流派现代作品，弘扬与推广新加坡华乐室内乐。

That’s a wrap on Composium 2026. ✨

From open rehearsals and lively conversations to the final Prize Presentation Concert, Composium 2026 brought composers, musicians and audiences together to explore what Chinese chamber music can be, and where it might go next.

A heartfelt thank you to our collaborators Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay and Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, and to all our composers, adjudicators, speakers, musicians and audiences who joined us throughout the journey.

Just this week at Bangkok Arts & Culture Centre, Ding Yi Music Company performed works by Ye Xiaogang, Narong Prangcharoen, Chong Kee Yong and our Composium 2026 finalists. ✨

We also welcomed participants from MCCY Cultural Academy’s Cultural Leaders Programme during our full run, for a glimpse into the music-making and creative process behind the programme.
