Earlier this month, Ding Yi Music Company was invited by Kuala Lumpur City Hall to perform at the Festival Orkestra Kuala Lumpur, presenting "Connected Cities – Music Without Borders", a concert of Chinese chamber music with a focus on works by Singaporean and Malaysian composers.

The concert brought together musicians, composers and audiences from Singapore and Malaysia, reflecting the power of music to foster connection through shared cultural experiences and artistic exchange.

Our sincere thanks to Kuala Lumpur City Hall and the Festival Orkestra Kuala Lumpur for their warm hospitality, our musicians including esteemed violinist Ming Goh, guzheng soloist Sara Heng and Malaysia Chinese Century Orchestra (MCCO) as well as everyone who had joined us for a memorable afternoon.

This concert was supported by the National Arts Council's Market and Audience Development Grant.

鼎艺团在这月初受吉隆坡市政局邀请，在吉隆坡市政局交响音乐节呈献《琴牵新马》。

这场音乐会汇聚了新马两地的音乐家与作曲家，通过音乐展开了一场跨越地域的交流。

衷心感谢吉隆坡市政局与吉隆坡市政局交响音乐节主办单位的热情接待，小提琴演奏家吴思明、古筝演奏家王惜盈、以及马来西亚世纪华乐团与我们同台演出，也感谢每一位到场与我们共度这个难忘下午的观众朋友们。

本场音乐会获新加坡国家艺术理事会 Market and Audience Development (MAD) Grant 支持。

Thank you for joining us for an evening of music dialogue between the yangqin and cimbalom at AFLAME! 🔥 Through the meeting of cultures and sounds, AFLAME continues Ding Yi’s season theme of Music Without Borders.

We were honoured to welcome H.E. Dana Baschová, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Singapore, to the concert.

Our heartfelt thanks to co-curators Fred Chan Hong Wei and Tan Jie Qing, guest conductor Olivier Ochanine, cimbalom virtuoso Matěj Číp, and everyone who journeyed with us through the music.
