Youth Labour Movement MLU's inauguration in 2018 will be a conference that raises the awareness about the workings of our local labour movements to the masses.

Youth Labour Movement is a student-led initative targeted at youths, to inspire greater interest in labour issues and cultivate deeper understanding of the role of trade unions and how they affect our world and our lives. We believe that having a heightened understanding of the labour movement amongst youths will go a long way in ensuring its importance and relevance to our future leaders. Labour

unions are integral in coordinating and addressing the various concerns of both employers and employees- from employers' needs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness to the welfare of workers, our local labour movements are significant in our lives.
