He does not rely on extravagance in order to engage his audience while presenting his ideas.

The skills he talked about didn’t sound like the most complex thing in the world.

The way he connects with others and shares his knowledge seemed to be done so effortlessly.

CONNECT & CONVERSE 4th May 2023 in Bugis Junction surprised the team at Quiet Impact Asia Academy.

The turnout was beyond our expectations. It was full house! After running the Personal Growth Learning Festival at the Lifelong Learning Institute last Wednesday, we wanted a casual setting to connect with those who came for the festival as well as those who missed that event.

Yesterday afternoon at a cosy corner of BigFishSmallFish restaurant, we met our friends, clients and collaborative partners as well as supportive introverted friends from Introverts Network Asia and the business introverts from IBM (Introverts Business Mixer of INA). It was casual networking over coffee but we had meaningful conversations of diverse topics, social and business. I do believe a few went away after the meetup with some good connections and great ideas!

Great hosting by Della SY Ng and Sin Kok Wai. I had the opportunity to say a few words, which I did. I told them about the Personal Growth Community @ Linkedin, which we launched on 26th April.

It was World Introvert Day yesterday January 2nd, which has been celebrated since 2011 initiated by psychologist and author, Felicitas Heyne. He felt January 2nd was the perfect date after the year end and New Year holidays are over.

To my surprise, a best-selling author from the US tagged me and 25 other introverts from around the world, at his Linkedin post to celebrate that day. Wow! Talk about connectivity with like-minded personalities!

Frankly, I don’t really celebrate it. However, I do appreciate the special day brings awareness to the way introverts relate and socialise. The recognition also makes known to those around us that our behaviour and habits don’t make us abnormal folks.
