A night to remember:
*Not just coz of the tantalising and emotional speeches that we witnessed.
*Not just coz of the incredible and insightful evaluations that were delivered,
*Or even the brain-stopping table topic: Nothing is original.
And the touching and out of the box answers to the table topic.
A night to remember:
1. DD Hakim Anak Temasek Anak Temasek Anak Temasek Anak Temasek car tyre went completely flat otw to the contest venue.
2. Contest chair, Kelvin Leong , was unwell and totally forgot to bring all the necessary forms. And so he had to rush home from Henderson CC to Marine Parade to get it.
3. Contest TM was stuck at work firefighting and couldn't make it.
4. Mimi (The Speakers), who has never been a contest TM, had to rise to the occasion and did it so naturally.
Yes, we had
an amazing panel of 11 judges and 1 tie breaker judge lead by CJ Chia Choon Kiat Chia
And an even unbelievable tale "Journey to India" by test speaker Donathon (Money Mastery Toastmasters Club, MMTMC)
But perhaps unintentionally, we celebrated International Women's Day next week with an all ladies winner's list for the area contest:
